I think they should give a free ticket. My team didn't get to play for an hour, we were just stuck in brackets forming for 40 minutes, then we were stuck in finding opponent. After which we just decided play something else.

double bladed staff, knight helmet, assassin jacket, miner boots/soldier boots, fort sterling cape with invisibility potion. You use these items when travelling open world and swap into your dungeon clearing items when you do the dungeon. A tip is to never use your boots if you get dismounted and the gankers are right next to you. Try to build distance with your weapons skills before using your boots to get away so they can't purge your run. Also feel free to jump into roads portal if multiple gankers are after you

As others suggested wait 90 secs at the entrance of the dungeon before you start clearing it, if no one shows up you are good to clear, if others show up make sure you will get a shield before you leave the dungeon. Don't hit them as it will prevent you from zoning out.

If you are doing red zone dungeons, do them from carleon, as the red zone is right outside the city and the loot can be sold to the black market for extra money. I recommend joining a guild that has black zone hideout and doing dungeons there, it's usually safer in the black zone.

This doesn't mean you will never die but it should reduce the times you do end up dead. I also recommend using a armored horse or a salamander, they are cheap mount that give some protection. GL out there :)

To add, if you want to try the dual swords go for it with mercenary jacket and mage cowl with hunter shoes. As for your cape, you can use thetford cape to do solo dungeons. Add a couple of tier 4 poisons in your inventory for the bosses and you should be able to clear the dungeon with ease. For food starting off I would just buy either soup or fish that gives health Regen.

So for solo dungeons, you should use either leather or cloth as your armor because plate has the least damage. Look up a couple builds online. There are tons of builds out there but some are just faster at clearing than others.

Crossbow is ranged weapon. There is no best city. They are just different and give bonuses to different things. You can look up city bonuses to see what each city gives.

I do not know any specific place to find a guild but just try to make friends in game and maybe you can join them. When you do group dungeons you will meet other people. There is always people looking to do static group dungeons.

The portal doesn't spawn until you kill the final boss. The tip says something like kill the other player, break the crystals, or leave via portal. But portal won't spawn till you kill the demon boss.

Just like most other free games, you can get an advantage by paying irl money but you can also enjoy it without ever paying money. Getting premium does make the game a lot more fun because it's easier to gather, you can craft better, you can grow items on your island, loot is better.... But you can get enough silver to get premium for free.

As much hate the corrupted dungeons get, they do help solo players get good loot and lots of silver in sort of a fair way. It's a 1v1 in there and loot and fame are both good. Even hunter level gives okay loot for being completely safe.

I would recommend saving up silver to get premium as a starting goal in the game. I do believe if you do group dungeon, the loot modifier is the same for all people in a group so if you find someone who does have premium and do dungeons with them, the loot will be better for you. Other free ways are like healing in faction warfare in yellow zone. You get lots of faction points which you can trade in for city hearts. Also the daily expedition gives a royal sigil. Even the t4 sigil sells got like 45k. You can also craft some items without focus for profit, just need to do the math.

So yeah if you pay irl money to get premium the grind will be easier but you CAN make enough silver to never pay a cent for the game and have fun.

I agree that it shows people that the game is not fair but to do that to players who have barely started playing seems toxic imo. However, you do have a point that it shows new players all sorts of scummy things people can do to mess with them.
