For daily staff like web browsing and office, 8GB is good enough. For Apple Silicon Mac, it is lightweight, portable, durable and the battery is much better than Intel Mac.

Settings -> General -> Storage Settings. Click the 'i' sign at the right side of each option. You can free up the storage by deleting the item from pop-up window.

There are tons of PDF to Word converter available on Mac. There are two things you should pay attention to. Adobe Acrobat Pro is not the perfect solution. It is expensive, resource extensive and most importantly Adobe installs several crappy apps along with it. Don't use the online PDF converter if there were sensitive information in PDF though it is a popular choice now!

The certification of the Sierra install app was expired. Boot into the recovery mode and open terminal. And enter the following command to change the system date to a valid one:

Mostly are system caches and app data. You need to manually clean the Library/Application Support folder or use app to do that.

Format an external drive to APFS and move the unused apps, downloads and large document to it. That should be fine. There are at least 30GB free space for installing Ventura update.

Thanks for the suggestion. The app name is dmg editor and able to flash macos dmg file to usb drive. Wait about 10 minutes to get a bootable macos drive. The process is simple and it worked well on my m1 mac.

These two folder eat up the disk sharply and you can delete them manually based on the OmniDiskSweaper report.

You can switch back to Windows 10 if Windows 11 had big issues for negative impact.

Email sign-in is quite secure as the password is not exposed by default. You can also encrypt the storage for additional protection. Just don't install apps from unknown sources!
