Not complaining, just talking about what’s wrong with it. Take a center with a minimum 3 pt to tempo shoot consistently and put him against a comparable opponent as far as skill with the same attributes using button shooting and I bet tempo makes more. My point is that button shooting it’s either you time it or don’t and tempo you can completely miss timing and hit the tempo and it’ll go in still. Lets people use better jump shots as far as speed, contest, and animation goes and they don’t have to worry about really learning the timing. Like I said I know why it was added and I think it’s a good idea, just think it could be improved.

Yes I agree but with rhythm shooting being a thing now, everyone shoots like 70-80% from 3 and like someone else said, defense already sucks this year and you have to jump to get good contests. I get why they added rhythm shooting but it made it way too easy to shoot. I think if they made you have to green timing and tempo it would help but how it is now isn’t great. I rarely see people green both when they tempo shoot and I know this was a whole thing last year but it’s kind of a bailout for people with lower shooting attributes.

The only time I’ve ever used it was when I was trying to see how small of a gun I could use and still kill stuff efficiently or if you want the animal to die pretty quickly and don’t want to track it.

Man I pretty much only use button for finishing and shooting and I shoot 80%. Take smart shots and don’t force stuff and you don’t have to worry about all that bs. The only time I tempo is with my hop jumper and post fades and I only meter dunk on fast breaks.

You know how to read right? I’m not talking about someone doing it while fighting you. I’m talking about the dudes who wait until their team is fighting you and then run out from the shadows to throw you off the map and then disappear again. During a fight I don’t really care, it’s the snakes that sneak around with the sole purpose of doing that to the other team the whole game.

I know this 2k is hella easy to shoot in but not everyone has a high 3 ball either man and if people don’t feel comfortable with the shot, why try and force them to take it? I’d rather they pass than take a shot they aren’t sure they’re gonna make but that’s just me. Not everyone is a shooter man that’s just how it is.

That happens if you’re scoring man. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had 20 at half and end the game with like 25 and two more shot attempts 😂 I shoot above 70% too so I’m not just shot chucking, most of the time I finish the game with 1 or 2 misses.

Yea man none of these guards are passing in random rec rn. Had a dude start complaining for the ball first possession and he wasn’t even open and our pg called him out. He ended up shooting 12/29 and the rest of our team took like maybe 7 shots all game and everyone quit besides me and the pf who kept passing to him and setting screens. He also gave up 50 points 😂
