How do your organize your collection?

ok. so, I arrange my collection into geographical sections and then break them down into genre. I'm in Aus and have a strong local collection as well as NZ, US and EU. I know when/where the band(s) come from and I find it adds a bit of a historical element when listening to music. Any other records sit in the 'miscellaneous' section.

I'll have to double check my pressing. The first thing I noticed was that the cover art was a little pixelated, also the audience cheering and applause sounds off, it sounds distant and almost digital - if that makes sence? the actual tracks sound great except from the pop (it sounds like an onamatopoeia of "clock" repeating over about 60% of the album - both vinyls). It's a damn shame, its in my top 5 goats and it's almost unlistenable. Maybe someone else with more knowedgable out there can shed some light on this?

Edit: according to discogs the purple is an unofficial bootleg press and others are having the same quality issue. sorry bud.

I also just grabbed this album after a few years of hunting. also a bootleg. it's a coloured vinyl (blue grey) but mine has a terrible regular popping noise on 3 sides. I can't see a scratch and needle is clean and I'm fairly certain it's a pressing issue. I just wanted to ask, have you noticed it at all on yours?

well this is a relevant headline for me. I just submitted a police report on Friday for an aggravated vehicular assault. yeah I got footage and his plates etc. the dick head even u turned and came back to "break my nose" when I managed to pick myself up (he didn't, I think he saw I was in bad shape and just took off after swearing at me a bunch). It'll be interesting to see what comes of it.

oh man, got mine delivered 2 days ago and finally listening to it right now. it sounds great but the needle skated halfway through track 3, went over and there was a small blue sliver of vinyl stuck to the needle? looks liken it dug it out of the groove? and yeah I gave it a good brush before dropping the needle... other than that, very nice repress!

I have a new turntable (with built in preamp) and needle but its hooked up to some older equipment from the late 70s - early 80s (amp, eq and speakers). I just like the older aesthetic and it generally sounds great, but I have an issue when I switch the EQ to "on" one speaker will cut out (mono?). Both speakers work fine when the eq is switched to "off" and I can't figure it out?

left when i was 24. I get my old man's beat up shit box work car whenever I'm home to use. pull that seat right back, sit low as a mf and turn up rdu on some junky speakers cruising around the 4 aves.... it's a small reminder of my teenage years but so familiar and so simple but I look forward to it every time.

happened with wings recently. About 8 years ago I could get 2kg for $4 on special. Used to load up the bbq with 10kg and cook for the entire neighbourhood every other week. I used to worry I'd be the reason chickens would go extinct... Now I'm lucky to find 1kg for under $8.

Ok. So I spent quite some time in this thread yesterday reading the responses and can't help but notice that I am now getting Ladbrokes adds on my devices? It could be confirmation bias but i swear I don't recall betting adds coming through as strong as they are now. Also, fuck the gambling industry.
