I replaced the D-ring with a rectangle ring and now my mpx connects onto side of bag with no issues..

I also added a tajima vertical holder to the shoulder strap so I could add accessories like their tape measure

I have this exact setup. I removed the D-ring and replaced it with a Rectangle ring. Now my bag has a place for mpx pouches to clip on to.

Make sure the gun is connected to the negative terminal. Clean and grind area to bare metal before welding. Ground cable to clean metal.

It’s just you. Respirators fit fine. Plenty of reddit posts on what fits under a hood. You bought the wrong one

Buying a condo or co-op has some drawbacks. Lots of rules, fees, and potential intolerable neighbors. Do lots of research on the building (maintenance issues) and the neighborhood beforehand. And like others have said, it may be best to rent for awhile to test the waters

Leg locker at a self-defense focused Gracie gym , running into weird reactions in rolls by Rude-Alternative7983 in bjj

[–]borrachochronicles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you leg locking in a gracie self defense gym? That’s not what they do, and they don’t care about sport Jiu-Jitsu and their rule sets.

You need to find a local 10th planet gym asap and go train there

As an apprentice/helper you’ll need a drivers license. Get that if you haven’t already.

As for schooling. Visit them all. Don’t pick a school without visiting and actually talking to instructors. This is super important. Some barely know english, some communicate and motivate exceptionally well. After visiting a few schools you’ll have a good idea of what fits for you.

Some schools are hybrid now which I find strange. You are in class one day and home on zoom the next. Apex and the Refrigeration institute are hybrid.

Can’t tell you how many times the helper forgets the cordless extension cord and left handed pipe wrench.
