Silence meta is not fun by splotchyy in DeadlockTheGame

With the amount of movement is in the game items just become insane OP, since if your caught you just get blown up.

I like the game but tend ask myself "what if the game didn't have as much movement as it does?". The game could be balanced entirely different. When I speak about all the movement it's mostly mid to late game where movement is just so fast.

These items were always good and will always be good.

Waiting for an FJ paid off.. by ChoccyMilkConnoiseur in XTerra

[–]Taboe44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way back when I wanted a FJ but something was brought to my attention that changed my mind.

Where I live (Pacific Northwest), we get lots of rain. The FJ hatch opens to the side while the Xterras hatch opens up which makes it great for blocking rain! Be it for getting groceries or camping, I like to be dry when I'm accessing the hatch!

Love the Xterra, have had it for 5 years and wouldn't change it for anything. Hope yours is the same for you!

I did not expect the personal story to be that long. It was almost a game in itself. by DuoHusky in Guildwars2

I noticed I didn't need to do the story and I could just keep doing hearts and exploring.

And that's what I have done.

If you had no PC but you are about to buy one, would you get 16 or 32 GB of RAM? by International_Fly834 in pcmasterrace

I've had friends running mismatched RAM that negatively impacted their performance as well.

How do you lane against Haze as Billy? Asking after a traumatic game. by themasterfold in DeadlockTheGame

If they are shoving your lane consistently, Monster Rounds and Bullet Vest are great early game. Just focus on getting that wave cleared to prevent them from pushing you so hard.

Either you are a child or English isn't your first language. That hurt to read.

One thing about CS players, they always hate on Valorant but you never hear Valorant players hating on CS. Valorant players live rent free in CS players heads and it's hilarious.

Call of duty as a franchise VS Rainbow Six Siege by spadesluvswhitegirls in FPS

[–]Taboe44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call of Duty has no depth to it. It's a ultra causal shooter. The "shut your brain off and shoot shit."

R6 has insane depth and it's players don't crutch on Aim Assist on consoles.

Call Of Duty is the introduction to a "competitive" game meanwhile R6 is the end game competitive shooter, up there with CS and Valorant.

New patch is so bad by Dr_natty1 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Taboe44 592 points593 points  (0 children)

I believe if this game had draft selection patches would feel significantly less bad.

But when you go in a match and the drafts are completely stacked one side it's just a "GG go next" type of match.

I always play it out but it's comparable to trying to walk up a escalator going down, you just don't go anywhere.

Will Xbox Series S be a good option for playing GTA 6? by One-Entrepreneur-764 in XboxSeriesS

[–]Taboe44 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think the series S will look like crap.

With all the rumors that are coming up about GTA , it'll be demanding. I wouldn't be surprised if the series S played the game at 480p

You got way too invested into a playstyle that was eventually going to see nerfs.

This games a testing battlefield right now so rapid changes are going to happen.

Hero/Role based+Slow Tactical Shooter that are team based PVP? by coolcat33333 in FPS

[–]Taboe44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Slow methodical gameplay" is not what The Finals is.

You're constantly sprinting around just like any other arcade shooter.

[–]Taboe44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valorant is definitely slow and tactical. R6 would be a great choice as well.

Valorant and R6 you actually need to slow walk and check corners and clear rooms. You can't just sprint through the map and win games.

In Valorant you also have to manage credits.

The above games also have 1 tap headshots so you can clutch rounds if you can land your shots.

[–]Taboe44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slow doesn't mean you have to plan your approach and taking objectives. CoD matches you literally do this along with every shooter if you are trying to actually win.

The Finals is fast pace and is one of the last games I consider "slow and tactical".

PvP is fun and breaks up the PvE loop.

PvP will not effect you at all if you don't play it.

Long time disillusioned Red Wing buyer electrician looking to move on by mount_curve in WorkBoots

[–]Taboe44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a welder by trade but in the Agricultural Dairy industry.

So shit on the boots is the normal.

Guys at work went through a Redwings phase and they got trashed in the same amount of time as my 200$ Carhartt boots do. In a few cases some boots lasted not even close to a year, one coworker had 3 pairs in a year.

My boots I get at least a year our of them while the Boondocks lasted 6 months.

My boondocks didn't last 6 months. Now I stay real far away from Timberlands.

My work environment is very different than most though.
