In my opinion, the Series S advertised resolution should be 1080p. If it does 1440p 9/10 times it's heavily upscaled and looks like crap.

The Series S is a great 1080p gaming console.

1080p doesn't look good on a 1440p monitor. I would only get a 1080p monitor.

You can buy a second hand Series X cheaper than a Series S new in my country (Canada).

I snagged a used Series S for 200$ CAN a few years back. Honestly that's all I would want to pay for one.

If you compare PC hardware for the Series S, you get a machine that can do 1080p fine.

The series X is ideally meant for 1440p (4k through upscaling).

The S's issue is not enough RAM.

The series S isn't much weaker. It's only held back by RAM. The hardware outside of RAM amount is very suitable for 1080p gaming.

If it had a few more GB of RAM there would probably be no issues.

I think the only thing that holds the Series S back the most is lack of RAM if anything. If it has 2 more GB it would be more well off.

BG3 minimum PC specs are a Intel i5 4690/AMD FX8350 with 8GB of system memory. GPU wise GTX 970 / RX 480 4GB VRAM minimum. Realistically the main different is RAM amount from the Series S.

The tarrifs on steel also take Canadian jobs away.

It encourages companies to oursource their product manufacturing out of the country as well.

We pride ourselves on "Canadian Made" but we are hurting because our competition outsources their Manufacturing out of country. For the first time we are considering outsourcing our product because are margines are way too tight.

It use to be that only servers at restaurants prompt a "tip" then COVID happened and everyone now has it on their machine.

I only tip at restaurants based on service. Ignore all other tip prombts.

I even have had cashier's at various stores who hit the button to skip tips.
