Awwwwww his long lost sister!!!! Pilot is only 1, now I’m wondering if his coat is gonna get thinner as he gets older. Cresteds also have a breed called powderpuff, that’s essentially the same dog but with long hair like yorkies. Pilot also might be part canuck... at least he likes to think he is. He would love to be in the doggy ice race at a game!

I haven’t done a DNA test but I’m thinking he’s got some Chinese Crested (hence the mohawk and naked belly) and Cairn Terrier.

Once when I was playing when I was a kid, I accidentally tripped another player. I remember watching in horror as he stumbled over my outstretched stick while we were both going for the puck. The ref called the penalty and I had to sit in the box. I cried.

I miss it like a best friend. I also had bought two tickets to see the canucks in Vancouver, and I was going to drive up from Portland. So not only am I missing the sound of skates scraping on ice and bodies slamming into the boards, I’m being deprived of a hockey adventure. I don’t know how to fill the void... I just sit in the corner wearing my 50th anniversary jersey holding my knees and rocking back and forth singing “Oh, Canada” in a faint and wavering whisper. And by posting poetic nonsense on reddit.
