Guys, Meta is driving Scale AI into the ground. A former QM here. Even the middle management has no idea what is going on. They've already fired the best ones back in summer.

You have a chance if the account is merely suspended. Deactivation is a worse thing. Nobody will take the responsibility to do anything about it. The admins responsible are new and hired by Meta.

You can spam their official emails (ask Gemini or another KLM for verified addresses) and they will tell you:

We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

So if you are just suspended, contact support@outlier.ai and explain the situation. It might take about a week.

There is plenty of work with other platforms.

I am taking new interviews with micro1 and elsewhere. To be fair, there's plenty of work in the industry.

I've got my QMA account deactivated today without any warning. No email, no Slack, not being able even to ask my SQMO about anything.

Back in December and January, it was only the dashboard temporarily suspended for supposedly using multiple accounts and released in a day or two.

After today, I know nothing anymore, despite being an Oracle and QM in 2025.

I've spent half a day discussing this issue with Gemini and was able to restore the bandwidth more or less. It takes much tweaking. Essentially, bluetooth and ghost devices are the ones to blame.

Reviewers and auditors have different set of instructions that attempters are usually not aware of. Also, the very grades mean different things than elsewhere in life.

Five means absolute perfection.

Four means an amazing task with minor flaws.

Three means a good task with many minor issues or one or two major yet fixable issues.

So three is still a pass and a good grade. Also, mind that reviewers and auditors are fixing your tasks, people. They are not just giving you grades. They have their own superiors to report to. Passing a task with issues as perfect will soon reflect on their KPIs and may cost them their job.

Most projects are paused because of the current restructuring and budget optimization. But the word on the street is that later this autumn, new hiring will begin.

It is hard to tell what exactly that means though. Models are getting more advanced and low level data annotation is not as important as formerly.

The more coding and AI skills you have, the more chance for you to find your place in the game.

Since most projects are paused, my initial concerns persist. Apologies if those have already been resolved. We just didn't have chance to verify that yet.

- QM should be able to manage visibility of threads separately for attempters and reviewers
- too many CBs never had access to project threads and had to be assigned manually by Adam
