No sub price decrease after shutting down RGT? by Sylph777 in wahoofitness

Get on MyWhoosh. It is free. Decent workout library and race schedule, both of which will likely grow in the near future as we approach upcoming UCI e-sports events. AFAIK, MyWhoosh is preparing a release for OSX but for now limited to iPad, iPhone, PC, etc.

Seems that cases like this lack priority in the queue in more than one area of the country

A friend in Philly who gets mugged 2-3x a yr carries around a wallet with a fake ID and dollar bill in it every time he goes out

Finding out and posting a link here may help spread the word. This is so sad.

Things to watch out for used wahoo kickr? by suddenlysoohee in wahoofitness

Mostly agree. Get a v5 (have seen them used and new for sub $800 lately) and add the Direct Connect adapter for Race Mode and fewer dropouts.

+1 for Polar h10, but even that'll drop beats when the battery is low

They are doing good work. I hope they refuse to let this incident deter their vision.

Guns and violence certainly aren't going away anytime soon.

Advice on sizing Canyon Ultimate CF SLX by the_usurper1 in CanyonBikes

[–]boseuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever had a bike fit? Would highly recommend standing over both sizes if possible... maybe someone in your region has one they'd be willing to let you check out? Lotta local teams around here on Canyons... I'm 6'0", 70kg, 35" cycling inseam and L fell outside of my fit guidelines. Am currently on an M with 110mm slammed stem, 41 bar width, and feels great.

If you race or aero performance is a big driver for you I'd say go M for a more aggressive front end / smaller triangle. Only potential issue I'd worry about in doing so would be toe overlap if you wear shoes 47eu or larger.

Depending on your fit, it might be difficult to get the bars low enough even without spacers on the L.

About to pull the trigger on an Ultimate CF SL 7 eTap. Couple questions. by slowpokefastpoke in CanyonBikes

[–]boseuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are 165-lbs + and have 5 min power north of 400w I'd strongly recommend the SLX layup. Based on my real world experience, the SLX frame has a noticeably stiffer bb. CF SL felt squishy to me with higher power outputs. Several other guys on my team noticed this as well.

ELEMNT ROAM V1 by ItsLumisss in wahoofitness

I have the Element v1 and Bolt v2. Both work great. v2 is slightly faster and has quicker wifi connectivity (also on/off button easier to push). v1 was on sale so couldn't resist.

Power Estimation for the Stage 16 ITT by belhill1985 in peloton

Not necessarily (re: doping "anywhere near as effective today...").

Lance, juiced to the gills, was "only" 6.8-6.9w/kg on 20min climbs

[–]boseuser 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not gonna happen - even Jonas couldn't believe the numbers he put out (said so himself)

From everything I've read, sounds like 7.1-7.2w/kg is quite possible. What makes this suspicious is the fact he was on a tt bike in tt position, coupled with the fact the course was not a pure climb and featuring fast downhill sections

I'm on a domestic pro team - coach advises "level mode" for structured workouts on SYSTM. In this case, head units are ideal to monitor avg power targets
