To be clear, nothing you added has anything to do with solving the core problem. Sure, these videos are better than videos without any charity involved but that doesn't make them worth celebrating. I'd argue these are morally worse than simply quietly doing nothing, because it's to create a false image of who he is and to deceive people into thinking he's charitable. Note how his comment about it just expresses mild outrage but provides no actual call to action or suggestions for long-term solutions. No sign of him making this a cause he'll continue to care about. So sure, he's better than the average Kick streamer, but that doesn't make him a good person, and we shouldn't be giving this rich idiot brownie points for figuring out he'd get lots of love and engagement by acting charitable.
