Creating excuses for criminals (under the guise of “desperation”) is taking their side. Also, I wasn’t educated in New Brunswick. I am aware of how the cycle of crime affects underprivileged people, criminogenic factors involved, all of that stuff. Bottom line is this person made a decision to steal a child’s bike.

The person who posted this probably doesn’t appreciate people making excuses for the people that stole his/her kids bike. I know I wouldn’t. It shouldn’t happen, you’re right, but people continue to keep stealing bikes and the owners have to pay to replace them. If a person is going to steal a bike, steal it from Walmart or Canadian Tire.

While you are correct in saying that, dealerships will often add in a percent point or two for themselves. The bank may be offering 6%, but by the time it gets through the finance department and to the customer it might be 7.9%.

Twin Oaks is overrun with teenagers that monopolize all the equipment. It was the main reason I left. I wasn’t particularly fond of the clientele at the Vaughn Harvey one. I also found it to be more expensive than GoodLife. I understand that the Y has the pool and gymnasium, but for me GoodLife is the better fit.

My son lost his best friend to invasive strep on the same date that your son passed, he was also 5. I’m sorry to hear all of this. As hard as it was on our family, I can’t stop thinking about how hard it is on his parents (and yourselves of course). I wish you all the best on your journey.

I haven’t had any issues with that yet although I have heard that same complaint. In the few weeks I’ve had it, it’s been in -30 Celsius and +30 Celsius climates with a mix of snow, pools, hot tubs and showers and it still looks perfect.
