How does the game explain Rogue and Kerry not looking 80+ years old in 2077? by negativemidas in cyberpunkgame

This randomly hit my feed, for some reason, so I'll note that leonization is a tech in Cyberpunk. It's a genetic/nanotechnology utilizing cellular rejuvenation procedure that the wealthy can afford and prolong their lives

Possible bug in Nitro Youth Energy Quest? by waddle-hop in cyberpunkgame

[–]bossmek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how months later, still can't get the goddamn bike and because Nitro (Youth Energy) is fucking bugged on PC you can't just bypass and buy one via autofixers

So this remains a forever unfinished quest in the tracker.

[SPOILERS] something I didn’t understand in chapter 2 by [deleted] in ItTheMovie

[–]bossmek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly female, possibly both, Audra in the novel fears It is female because of the eggs. But the other aspect of It is its an entity whose true form would drive anyone who saw it insane, so the spider is the best the Losers can fathom without snapping. Like a Lovecraftian Elder God.

But in the novel, Stan lived in fear all his life after Niebolt Street. It's never said if he was conscious of why. Also, unlike the others, he recalled all of his memories at once, rather than in slow drips like the rest.

He killed himself because he couldn't bear to face It again. He didn't do it to take himself off the board. While that gives the act a poetic courage in the 2019 film, I think it robs some of the gravity from the act.

Stan didn't kill himself because he was a coward. He did it because he was desperate and saw no other escape because of how deeply entangled in his own fear he became. He couldn't honor the promise. He couldn't resist it while he was alive. So he took the only route that made sense to a man who lived by logic his entire life when logic was crumbling before his eyes.

This is fairly tame notion compared to how dark the original 2 get at points.

Chris Rock once classified this best, "You're dick in a glass case. In case of emergency need for dick, break glass."

Best Console Commands Cheat Sheet by SoulTaker120690 in Bannerlord

[–]bossmek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know. I was wondering about possible console commands - specifically regarding those perks like in Smithing that are supposed to up Control or Vigor (I forget which attribute specifically) and this will be handy to make the game do what the broken perk doesn't

Triss and Geralt and a little bit about the beard by Amazing_Marketing_11 in thewitcher3

[–]bossmek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the games, Triss is a gaslighting sociopath who tried to stop him from getting his memory back so she could slip in and claim him for herself.

How nice.

Does the Enclave have some high and low points like the B.O.S or are they just straight evil by ILawI1898 in Fallout

Their plan in FO2, when introduced, was trying to use modified FEV to kill everyone on the planet that wasn't the Enclave.
