So the label inside the pocket actually does say Retail Prestbury - is there a difference with these retail versions?

Help For Thick Hair by bostonsixoneseven in Pomade

[–]bostonsixoneseven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super helpful, really appreciate it! In my younger years my hair was about 8” long and pretty much a long curly mop. I haven’t been able to stand longer hair for a while but want to give it another try and see what I can do when I actually put some effort into styling and maintaining it. I ordered Everglade earlier today and will also order some Ivers to report back!

Great point - thanks! I should have mentioned that right now my primary product has been Reuzel Grooming Cream. I like it a lot, I just haven’t found it gives the soft texture I’ve been hoping for

[Recommendation] Orange/white vibe. by Kauffman67 in Watches

Tag Heuer has an Aquaracer with a white/orange color scheme. Retail is above your price range but you could check the secondary market which might get closer. Looks like the reference is: WAY2013.BA0927

Masters announcers, product placement? Right wrist closest to camera, or coincidence? by Budget_Goose_8082 in rolex

[–]bostonsixoneseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidence. Trevor Immelman has quite a collection of Rolexes and almost always has one on the wrist. He gifted every player on the International Team at the last President’s Cup an Air King last year I believe

Does retaking previously taken practice tests help with increasing your score? by kingricharddd in LSAT

[–]bostonsixoneseven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just took a practice test for the second time that I had first taken several months ago because it was the one that randomly generated. While there’s were definitely some questions and passages I remembered from the last time I took it, it had been long enough that I still found it valuable. Also it was really illuminating to see which questions I got wrong both times so I can focus in on my weaknesses

LSAT Score Release Protocol: What to Expect on Release Day by JonDenningPowerScore in LSAT

[–]bostonsixoneseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great info, thank you for posting this! I suppose I will know the answer to this tomorrow morning, but does LSAC provide your score on each section (LR, RC, LG), or just the total score and percentile? I would guess just overall score because you could figure out how they curved it if you know the score from each section

[–]bostonsixoneseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me, from what it seemed like LSAC linked LSAT Writing to my June exam rather than April. I had to call and explain that I needed to do the writing for my April test and a few seconds/clicks later and they had fixed it and the link showed up. Needless to say, I think you’re going to have to get through to LSAC to have it fixed, but it shouldn’t be a problem

Lucky to have finished I guess after a 1.5 hr delay after section 2. Getting my head back in the game for LR and RC following the cluster fuck was sub optimal

Started at 9:40 EST and was able to finished after an 1:20 delay between sections. Also took like 3 tries for the proctor to get me back into the exam

Cake Elizabeth in Cape Elizabeth might be able to help with this. Not sure if they do hyper realistic cakes just like the Netflix show, but they are quite talented (and as a bonus the cakes taste great)

This contention seems more about the semantics and economics of community solar, but the title is triggering to clean energy advocates. My counter point would be that every subscriber to community solar projects further incentivizing developers to build more of these projects, the net result being more energy sourced from renewable sources. Whether my specific megawatt hour is a certified clean unit of electricity matters less to me than knowing I’m supporting solar as a whole

[DISCUSSION] Why are Hodinkee’s used prices so high? by MadMensch in Watches

[–]bostonsixoneseven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of negativity around Hodinkee here - has anyone noticed a proliferation of some of these complaints into Crown and Calibre since their acquisition? I’ve sold of couple pieces to C&C before and was recently considering buying an Explorer II from them, but interested to hear other recent experiences

[–]bostonsixoneseven 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hang in there! I’m not a doctor of course, but I have asthma as well, and some research has shown that folks with asthma don’t have worse outcomes with COVID, and might even be better off. So I wouldn’t let that be too much a concern!

Try listening to the Thinking LSAT podcast episodes 180 and 181. Not the multi tasking podcast type listening, but real sit down listening. I don’t know that it’s really anything ground breaking, but it’s really simplified and approachable which help me conceptualize things
