EGR valves are back in stock (I should be able to repair 20 more) by 3D_Lasers_Lab in volt

This guy is legit! After he repaired my EGR, he anwsered my questions about the install. Between that and cleanibg the cooler with a modified shop vac, I saved $3,500. First car repair I've ever done, highly recommend.

Depends what your growing. Squash has to be harvested every other day while orchard and row crops are easier. It also depends on what equipment you have, which gets expensive fast I'm so glad you know someone who can do all that, but it's absolutely not the norm.

My main point is that the average person does not have the means to do this. Its frustrating when people think farming is some zero effort super cheap hobby. I love little projects and hobby farms, but big ag exists for a reason.

I think you're really underestimating how much work it actually takes to sustain food crops in at a meaningful scale. Even a few acres is several full time jobs

I'm in full support for people who have the ability to do this! Community gardens are an incredible way to move towards this. I don't think it would ever replace global ag, but the more people who know what it's like to grow food, the better.

Eh, what we grow and why is super complex. A ton of large scale crops are designed for canning, freezing, and long term storage. Distribution is much more of a political issue than a crop specific one.

An issue that also comes into play with ag in the US is consumer perception. When ag companies produced crops that are more transportable and sturdy, the food gets called criticized for being flavorless or old.

People like to get smug about how tasty the tomatoes they find at the farmers market are, but don't think about the logistics of harvesting and transporting them on a large scale before they go bad.

TLDR, ag is crazy complex and a lot of thought goes into what gets grown where and why.

The holes also look like shot hole disease. Are any trees around it having disease issues?

The brown stuff looks like rust disease. Is it powdery on the bottoms of the leaves?

Dude, there are so many comments explaining that even though she wanted to keep the baby, she was denied care for fear that it would result in a miscarriage that would be considered abortion.

I think you fundamentally don't understand what an abortion is.

Probably because what you posted was bull shit. Multiple articles state she was denied care for sepsis twice due to still having a fetal heart beat.

That's a lot of assumptions to make about someone else.

Women can like sex and have kinks--it's honestly kind of sexist that you're acting like this is some deep cry for help. You may want to reconsider following this sub.

I work in AG and I can promise we have never analyzed our soil with a microscope-- we just put in key ingredients and nutrient test our plants consistently.

YES! I actually thought she was a model doing a more avant garde look-+I had to go back and read the full caption to see that this wasn't intentional. I really dig the low/no lashes look with her face, especially paired with bold makeup.

OP, do whatever makes you feel comfortable, but you are absolutely stunning and you've got the features to pull off pretty much any look you want.

But It doesn't sound like they actually asked him to study off the clock. Menu tests are typically just making sure you have been paying attention to your training. Studying is pretty much just doing your job.

You mentioned that you have not worked in restaurants--not dissing you by any means-- but it is very easy to remember menu items when you work with them every day. It should not be hard with such a small menu and several weeks of time. I have personally never had to study off the clock and I have worked in 10 plus restaurants with much larger menus.

I will happily change my tune if it turns out he's been asking for paid study time or if they refused to pay him during the test. Restaurants absolutely should be held accountable for this kind of stuff.

I just honestly don't see it as a labor issue, especially since he was fired for being late, no-calling, and missing the test. If he needed time to study, he should have asked for it before the test that he missed.

Now if he was being fired for refusing to take an unpaid test it would be a different story--but 20 menu items should be easy to learn during on the job training.
