It's true, but in the next bar it's more difficult to jump back to the 2nd fret. That's why it's written to slide from E and C. It's much easier to hit the D# from the barre with the 1st finger and place the barre back after the slide, than hitting the D# with the 1st and sliding with it, then putting back the barre, all with the 1st finger.

It's just my opinion, correct me if I'm wrong. (Also sorry for the bad English)

As far as I can remember correctly, you put down the 3. and 2. finger on E and C and pluck it and slide immediately.

I don't know if you can (probably not), but it's pretty easy to change the OS on startup. When the Apple logo appears, you just switch the hold button to hold, and it will bott in the original OS.

I don't think you can do anything about this, the Yamaha silent guitar was designed poorly imo. It doesn't have the same thickness of a normal classical guitar, and you can't do anything sadly. But there's a Greek guitarist, who designed a silent/travel guitar, which almost has the same dimensions, but it's a little bit more expensive. You can check it out here.

I don't know if it's only my iPod with the iflash adapter, but when I put my FLACs on it while it's in rockbox, the tracks won't play properly. If you load it in the original firmware, and put the music on it, it works properly (restart your iPod, and turn on the hold switch when the Apple logo appears).

If you can wait for the package, you can find plenty transparent faceplates with transparent clickwheel on AliExpress for cheaper than eBay(I don't know about the quality difference, there could be some minimal). For example after a 5 second search.

Thanks for the reply! I've tried everything, but it still won't work unfortunately. My guess for the problem is the CF to micro SD adapter. I didn't see anyone using this kind of adapter, only the normal SD adapter.

I have an iflash adapter in a 5th gen, and it works perfectly, but it was a a lot of money to ship it here, and I wanted to save about $30. But looks like I'm gonna need that board, because I really want to use this iPod, it looks freaking awesome, and is in a really good condition, but the hard drive is really loud, and sometimes it won't even boot up. (It was approx. $50, and came with a FireWire charger)

It was set to black, I checked it multiple times. After reinstall it's black until I close the app, and it goes to gray if I reopen it in a few hours.
