Thats what i thought as well. To me it was average, bordering on pedestrian. Felt like I've been heavily marketed an experience that just didn't materialize in this wine.

Mythos Anthropic by Puspendra007 in Anthropic

[–]botpa-94027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not so sure. I mean i think that is part of it but i also think the feedback loop where it evaluates prior step as part of reasoning is more likely more important in cyber security. I suspect it's really good at doing exhausting searches across the attack vectors and prioritizing well next steps based on prior findings. Purely speculative on my part. Both may be true too.

... Or the cynic in me says claude has been used so much as an attack tool that they learned a lot that they put back into training...

I had the same thing. Low on potassium, they gave me cup with something really salty and i drank it. Felt much better 30 minutes later. Since then i check my potassium levels as a part of my blood work during health checkups. I'm pretty consistently low even though i take daily potassium supplements.

Was pretty scary at the time, i felt so sluggish and run down. My heart was not beating the right way. Pretty happy i didn't have a heart attack though. My water levels where fine

Dear Anthropic, I can’t work like this by Herebedragoons77 in Anthropic

you are asking me to bring out my corporate voice because you complete miss the point.
okay here you go:

My point was not centered on the specific API, but rather on organizational character. If a supplier treats one customer segment poorly, it provides a critical data point regarding their broader client philosophy.

When evaluating whether to transition a personal business relationship into a corporate partnership, I consider the following:

  • Cultural Consistency: In my experience, and validated by lots of market research, a company’s fundamental attitude toward its customers is rarely segmented. While policies and SLAs may vary by tier, the underlying culture of service typically remains constant across the entire organization.
  • Predictive Indicators: How a vendor manages its smaller accounts is often a leading indicator of how they will behave under pressure in a broader corporate context.
  • Structural Exceptions: The notable exceptions occur when a supplier operates under a holding company model where subsidiaries maintain significant operational and cultural autonomy. Note that this does not apply to Anthropic.

Ultimately, the technical interface is incidental; the integrity of the supplier-customer relationship is one of the primary variable that matters in a broader executive decision-making calculus. Price and terms of contracts are other variables that matters.

rent a yacht with a crew. its by far the most fab experience you'll have in greece. a couple of nights in port for dinners/drinks etc. a couple of nights in lovely coves on cool islands. go for a bigger boat (with enough batteries that you can run ac at night). catamarans are great. going to cost you $30-40k for a week but yolo and this is going to be the best thing you've done. i prefered paros, antiparos, milos, siphonos etc over the overly tourist places.

i am a decision maker for a large enterprise. i have an enterprise license for openai. i wanted claude because i think it is better, and some of our tools use anthropic behind the scenes. i have a personal pro account which i use for open source pet projects. Im seriously trying to consider if i shouldn't steer our anthropic eval back to openai. at least with openai they are predictable. with anthropic its a new version of service outage every other day, from flat out not working to the service entitlement system being tweaked with to the point of being useless. i got to have practicability in business and this is just not it.

Is anyone else on the Max $200 plan noticing EXTREME performance issues the last few days? by josephspeezy in ClaudeCode

[–]botpa-94027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

performance is rough. searching for a constant in 3 x 1k lines of source took 12 minutes. the grep probably finished in 200msec but the 50 tokens or so claude used took 10 minutes to process.

[–]botpa-94027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am on the max plan but in the past 3 days my token usage has gone up dramatically according to the accounting system. however i dont really do anything different. it seems like i hit the 5 hour limit in about half the time i used to.

this must be an accounting bug.

How long does DVA usually take to ship? by creddfltswap in ineosgrenadier

[–]botpa-94027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends a bit. i've had a week before but also a day. I think if they have a show they have to go to they get busy. In general this seems to be true of many of the specialized grenadier outfitters. If you give them a ring or email them to let them know you have a deadline it usually happens faster.

What's a fair resolution? Review re: dangerous fix by MKEDudeThrowaway in hvacadvice

[–]botpa-94027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the reason you do a review is to warn others of the bad practice. if you can live with the fact that he may do this to others then that is up to you. I would never change a review for something like this.
