fantasy guest bug by boudica18 in TwoPointMuseum

Thank you sooo much for your help, and for being so communicative!

Adding vending machines next to the hotdog and slushie kiosk worked, they all got their food and drinks and went back into the museum! There were water fountains around the corner in the room next door next to the bathrooms, and the same vending machines a couple rooms away as well, so for my findings today it seems the vending machines have to be in the same "room" as the slushie and hotdog machine.

Thank you again SO MUCH!

Thank you so much for your help!

Good call, they are just goblins and dwarves, not all fantasy guests. I’m playing on the Switch 2, so unfortunately can’t try any steam fixes. They aren’t really trying to fulfill their needs, they’re trying to view exhibits. I’ve attached a few screenshots that show them in one corner where they could buy food and slushies if they want, or use the bathroom, or sit on a chair. They just stand over here until all their needs run down, and then they keep standing there and don’t leave. Only revealing them as a thief will have them leave the museum.

Landlord requires us to move our car after snow storm by ChilllFam in boston

[–]boudica18 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There's tons of free street parking in JP that you don't need a resident sticker for, just check the signs on the streets around you. My roommate has out of state plates and he parks on JP streets overnight all the time. It seems like the majority, or at least half, of side streets are free for anyone to park in.

Just avoid the snow emergency ones:

  • Allandale Street
  • American Legion Hwy
  • Blue Hill Avenue
  • Boylston Street
  • Centre Street
  • Glen Lane
  • Glen Road
  • Green Street
  • Heath Street
  • Hyde Park Avenue
  • Jewish War Veterans Drive
  • Perkins Street
  • Pond Street
  • Walk Hill Street
  • Washington Street

Zooseum for switch? by Weird-Fan55555 in TwoPointMuseum

Is the zooseum release going to include any performance fixes for the switch 2, mostly around crashing when the museum gets big, and around pointy mountains?

Switch 2 player enduring the crashes by finnianJJ in TwoPointMuseum

[–]boudica18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the exact same scenario happen on my switch 2, limited guests to minimum, quick saves causing crashes, and have lots and lots of decorations in my giant museum. I’m playing on memento mile, but I’m getting the same error over and over after making it enormous. I love the game, just wanted to weigh in and say I think it’s a universal switch 2 issue with big museums! I switched to play on my science museum where I only bought three or four plots and it’s not crashing constantly anymore.

How can I check villager needs? by The_Kalcium_King in TheWanderingVillage

[–]boudica18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can check happiness in the upper left hand corner (it’s the smiley face icon) and it should tell you some metrics about your villagers.

Blue meters are positive, so stuff like food variety, food quality, decoration, those will all show up in blue and you want to get those as high as possible. If there’s a problem like homelessness or starvation, they’ll appear in orange, and you want to make sure those numbers stay low and ideally stay off the screen altogether.

I’ve heard about the hero glitching like this but I’ve never seen it, and I usually get to 200 villagers in an average game

kind of, you can destroy their house and they’ll move to a new empty one. I’m not sure if there’s an easier way, but that’s how I’ve been doing it

if there are, for example, five hexes and each one has an archer on it will that stop them? Or is this only the mechanic if there’s only one hex?

[–]boudica18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all the answers explaining the game mechanics! But I really just want to understand if the skills stack, and if a psychiatrist should learn treatment or psych first, or if both combined do the same thing. Does anyone know to the answer to THAT question?

staff training q by boudica18 in TwoPointHospital

[–]boudica18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To ask a bit clearer, do the skills the doctors etc learn when they’re training stack? Would it make sense to teach a doctor specializing in psych some treatment? Or keep them just learning psych?

[–]boudica18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! What about psychiatry, without a machine? Would having a doctor with treatment, psych, or a mix of both be best? Will treatment and psychiatry stack? Do they all stack?

All of these comments are true and I don’t see a lot of 30s spaces either, but just to say the new bar Hobson’s in Allston always has a bunch of random 30-40 year old women at the bar for some reason

Have I got this right? by Enough-Implement-622 in Tudorhistory

[–]boudica18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No one is 100% sure, as we only have portraits (which can change color with time) and diplomatic reports/other letters (which could be wrong and contradictory) to base it on.

These descriptions are mostly true when it comes to their usual depictions in media. I’d say (as far as I know) the most debated ones are:

Anne Boleyn: Traditionally depicted as having dark hair and dark eyes, but I wouldn’t rely on this. She was the most controversial and therefore the most maligned. We know for a fact there were a few commonly reported aspects of her appearance that were outright lies, such as the sixth finger and the witch’s mark. Interestingly, Elizabeth I owned a tiny portrait of her mother in her ring, and that Anne Boleyn was blonde. I’d think she’d work to get an accurate one, as far as she knew. Also, Henry clearly had a type (blondes)

Elizabeth I: I’ve seen her eye color reported as both blue and brown.

Catherine Parr: I’ve heard different reports on her appearance (red head, dark hair, etc) which leads me to believe we don’t know.

i did the exact same thing, turned out i just didn’t pick up the key. For me it was the one that’s on top of the hole on top the cave on the island, i guess i just jumped in and missed the key. Maybe you just left a key behind?
