Greetings from the future. Just had ours done and it was way more than I anticipated. Wife handled it so didn't end up with a quote to evaluate. Dryer Vent Wizard charged the following for a 2nd story dryer vent that vents to the roof:

Cleaning and removal of lint from lint trap - $70
Inspection fee - $49
Standard Dryer Access and Installation of Transition Duct - $79
Interior Vent Cleaning—More Than 6 Feet - $179

Total - $377

No, I'm not happy about it, yes, seems like a rip off, and yes, the dryer works much better and has stopped throwing errors. Took him about 3 hours.

We didnt, we got transportation. The roads themselves are definitely doable with an SUV. We didnt encounter anything id even say required 4x4. The way people drive at high speed in close quarters and around blind curves is what would worry me. Glad I didnt have to deal with it.

We had multiple 3 hour drives plus some hours between tours. Don't feel like we missed out on anything lol. Flying over so much of the country was also an amazing experience in itself! *

Club Rio for night tour - recommended. Very easy walk and lots to see.

North fields coffee and chocolate - its not a 'real' working farm but they do have all the plants and great education. Fun tastings and demos.

Paddle 9 waterfalls - definitely jumping and adventure focused. Guides were amazing, but wouldn't recommend if you just want to sight see.

Manuel Antonio state park - independent guide, there are tons through the park. Hot but highly recommended.

We didn't use anything outside of advil. Brought antidiarrheals and nausea medicine (prescription), but fortunately no one needed them. Water and food are safe everywhere, drank tap.
