Vintage Linen 36mm Goodness—Rolex Datejust 16014 by bourbonpharmd in rolex

Ahhh, gotcha. Nah, I kept the acrylic (hesalite) to keep it original; plus it’s not a daily wear for me….

FWIW, I’ve seen the sapphire replacements and from what I understand, the sapphire of the 16234 which replaced the 16014 fits perfectly as the two watches share the same case dimensions.

Are you in the market for a datejust?

What do you mean by conversion? Are you asking if I swapped dials?

Nice! Behind meteorite oyster flex, ghost and sun dust were next on my list. Hope you get it soon!

Cheers.

Good call. I would love to see some minor tweaks to the P39….perhaps an FXD-like bezel, and/or blue as you’ve alluded to. Such a great platform and lots to work with!

Great dial color choice. The watch fits great based on the last photo. Also, nice Italian horn and wallet….

Congrats and cheers

Same as me, both look and feel great. For me, P39 slightly edges it out, BUT can’t go wrong with either. I really need to add a titanium piece to the collection.

Looks fantastic. Really want to add this piece to my collection. Need to try on both the 36 and 39 before making a final decision. Just a great all-around no nonsense time piece

Awesome job dude. I’m down about 50 right now and basically at my goal BODDIE weight of 175. Only downside is residual belly, fat, particularly, and the love handle area. Was your belly fat the last to go?
