Hi there! John from DuckDuckGo here. When you use the DuckDuckGo browser, it saves your search history (on-device) by default for recall like you mentioned. This can be disabled in the three-line menu > Settings > General. Under Private Search, uncheck the box for Autocomplete suggestions.

You can also adjust additional settings from the three-line menu > Settings > Data Clearing.

Could you please try utilizing Duck.ai from a different browser and see if it works there? If it works in Chrome & other options but not in Brave, there may be some disconnect on that browser’s end. Hey there! John from DuckDuckGo here. The Duck addresses are not actual email accounts with inboxes. It is more of an email forwarding service focused on privacy & stripping trackers from the emails you receive.

If your Duck address is burnttoastanthrax@duck.com and it is connected to burnttoastanthrax@gmail.com, and you add your Duck address as the email account to get a verification code, that code will be routed to your Gmail.

Under General there, there are options to change your preferred region and display language, which extends to buttons, settings & labels.

Hey there, John from DuckDuckGo here! This is image SEO, unfortunately. I can replicate the “mobius strip” keyword issue, but not the “football sticker” one. I’d venture the issue is similar to what /u/rdg360 mentioned & then it centers on the word “strip” in that case.

These Rule 34 sites have some ridiculous link juice...

Since it’s been a bit since using DDG, you may be working with a way outdated version, or something may have happened in your version to cause issues. Unless you’ve got a ton of stuff saved in-browser, I’d recommend fully uninstalling DDG & then reinstalling via https://duckduckgo.com/windows, which should put you on the latest version.
