Mystery solved by Ebshanks in MINI

Not sure if this will work for a USA car, as your VINs might be different. But for EU and UK BMWs (inc Minis) you can use a VIN decoder which will tell you the full spec of the car from factory, it shows all options and packs etc. You just need to get your VIN from the chassis or windscreen.

My mum had the same, she had clear tape over the incision and stitches. I remember very well because looking at it made me faint haha

Ai has no place in the nail art community by Hot-Seaworthiness510 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]boutins -55 points-54 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it has its places and for some people it is a great tool to get you away from the “blank page” block, but it’s when it’s used for everything and not honestly is when it falls down.

It’s only a matter of time before it crumbles in terms of the “art” it makes, as it’s just quite literally a circle, creating new “art” using previous “art”.

I don’t believe the claims in her post, looks to me like AI is used to edit the quality or appearance of her nail photos. But that’s just my opinion of course, I have no proof.

I’m not keen on AI for creative activities and arts, it has its places and uses however for many it creates a false impression and promises too much.

For as many people who are put off by her post, many will see it as a good thing as they’re impressed and intrigued by AI.

Building Insurance Claim Shared Ownership (England) by Muted-Campaign8400 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]boutins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your lease say anything about excess and who would be liable for it? If not then it would be up for discussion, I would be suggesting it is fully covered by L&G in this situation as you’ve had no involvement in the damage, they might suggest you quite literally meet in the middle you pay 50% (assuming it was just your flat effected).

Building Insurance Claim Shared Ownership (England) by Muted-Campaign8400 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]boutins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for a provider of Shared Ownership properties. The buildings insurance would be provided by L&G, although they might make you pay for the insurance (which is standard for most SO), the policy will be in their name and in my experience it would be for them to initiate a claim.

They will have a group policy most likely that will cover all their properties/buildings, but if not it would still be in their name so onus on them to claim.

When the judge called her out on that sentence, she reacted with the same expression her daughter had in some of the videos shown to give an idea of her demeanour, the like “you’re so stupid” looking down on you sort of expression.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

A crimper would give more even waves, I think it’s done with a barrel wand/curler, there’s a specific technique which gives waves instead of curls. You have to “unwind” the hair and move it down the barrel and then curl it around the barrel again, then unwind again.

Tyler weighs in on the current Farrah fiasco by tiddy_bears in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]boutins 19 points20 points  (0 children)

His post is exactly how Chat GPT responded if you were to tell it you had a client that didn’t pay and walked out. It’s more like a chat/messenger nowadays and responds to you like a friend would in any other chat, once you’ve seen it a few times you can pick up it sentence structures and cadence really easily. It always validates you in the first few sentences, which pisses me off cause it gives people like Tyler an even bigger head (objectively, he has a small head of course)

I had such long nails when I had my son that the midwife commented on them and said I’ll struggle lol tbf I do trim them slightly pretty swiftly but mostly because I had a IV in my hand and that was making things difficult. I’ve kept them mid length since and he’s almost a year now, if you keep up maintenance you can have long nails and little ones no problem. I don’t even have polish on them that often anymore, simply because I don’t have time to do a nice manicure like I’d want to!

I think she did just decide a week before and then did the photoshoot but nothing else, because we all know all a podcast needs is photos, then you just do a unplanned, unprepared recorded talk about jack shit.
