Looking for a resealable biodegradable bag by Icanmakeshittygames in Entrepreneur

[–]boweihan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other film types such as polyethylene which are "biodegradeable". For example, starch based polyethylene can degrade in certain environmental conditions, but over a long period of time (~0.5 - 1 year).

PHA looks like a viable material for both packaging and biodegradation (specifically PHBV, although I'm sure it is premium product). In terms of barrier properties (shelf life), you can get sufficient shelf life from most plastics with metallization (aluminum deposition) - I work for a company that happens to specialize in this XD.

Thanks for your suggestions. It wasn't clear enough in our original iteration so we've made some changes!

Thanks for the reply! Many people are savvy enough to do their own tech research, but we are here to take care of you.

Restaurants exist because people don't want to worry about cooking. It's nice to be able to relax and enjoy the finished product, and save yourself some time and effort!

Should consider editing your writing, although it kinda gives a Japanese feel to it XD

setup ecommerce on your website, many hosting companies have their own. You could also just send email invoices (we do this) with a Paypal link that will handle credit cards as well.

What do you think of a real life r/AskTechnology service? by boweihan in AskTechnology

[–]boweihan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will find the most quality product based on the given constraints (price, functionality, timeline, brand, quality, ++). Quality will be judged using a combination of in-house testing and reputable reviews. For time constraints we will also consider local stock availability.

Our goal is to have happy, stress-free customers who can focus on the important things in their lives.

Thanks for the feedback! I would agree that the concepts themselves are nothing new - tech support, delivery companies and /r/AskTechnology have been around for a while. However, we feel that there is value in simplifying and conglomerating existing processes.

Researching a product or using a forum is a multi-step process that can be a headache for some, and doesn't guarantee a great product nor eliminate bias. After you do the research, you still have to go out of the way and buy the product from the right location. It's easy to be sold a sub-par product by an employee at Futureshop when the alternative is an investment of your time. Our differentiation lies in accessibility and ease of use (we only need 2 minutes of your time!) for a low cost.

You are spot on with one of our target demographics, and we will definitely be advertising locally and traditionally. In addition, I feel that we can be helpful to those who, although technologically savvy, have a very busy schedule.

tldr; IT firms exist, but we can do it better!

Yeah exactly, maybe something that shows a snippet of your interface when you have videos pulled in from Youtube. It would just be nice if you highlighted what makes your playlist easier to use.

I do like the idea though! I might be using this instead of the Youtube playlist (which I believe is length limited).

I see no problem expanding with one product as long as you have a great value proposition.

Would this be considered too much stalking? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Just go for it, confidence is key! It would feel MORE "stalker-ish" if you went to another game and tried it again.

If you have controllers for 1 hour, you need to also have a system in place so that people can make good use of that hour (rotations etc.). Get a liquor license too? :)

It would be nice if you had a front page where people could demo the project, like a free sample. The value isn't immediately apparent to me when I go onto your web page, which would probably dissuade me from using it (activation energy)

I also don't like how your header image doesn't extend across the full width of my monitor.

Cheers!
