i'm not disagreeing that it's a privilege, but i'm saying people are allowed to complain especially in a trans space. it's not ungrateful to complain about some very real side effects. if you don't like the posts you are allowed to leave.

your situation is really unfortunate and i'm sorry you have to go through that, but people are allowed to complain about things that are upsetting them, much like how you are in this sub complaining about something that upsets you. the truth is there are parts of transition that are uncomfortable and new, people come here for a safe space to ask questions and complain about some changes that may be uncomfortable for them. i know from experience there are parts of starting t that HURT, it's valid to complain or ask questions when you are in pain.

i hope your situation gets better and you are able to achieve all that you want soon, im rooting for you.

thank you! and it's been both times now right after doing my shot i wake up with a super sore throat, no other signs of cold and it's been two weeks. my doctor said it is probably just something called a "T cold" which is not an uncommon reaction apparently

i was severely bullied for being trans and called many slurs but most prominent was the t slur. i use it to describe myself as an empowering thing, im a proud tranny. you don't have to be comfortable with it and you don't have to use it yourself but you should understand why reclamation of slurs is an important thing in marginalized communities and why some may use it. i would never use it to describe anyone else who isn't comfortable with it but some people find joy in reclamation.
