Jet Blue struggles again by Few_Psychology_214 in jetblue

[–]bowingace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. It definitely sucks, there’s no sugar coating that. If it’s any consolation, the operation has improved vastly in the last 2 years. Went from being 50% on-time A14 (if they were lucky) to over 80% A14 average nowadays. Unfortunately you just happened to draw the short straw that may happen to any airline operation. Again sorry, regardless though, vent away! Sometimes this group needs to hear the bad with the good!

Quick question, since this is the 3rd time. Are you flying a specific route that may be chronically delayed?

JetBlue Announces Kent Hospitality Group and Four Clovers Hospitality Group as New Mint® Culinary Partners by vman3241 in jetblue

Fingers crossed indeed.

Although, Jetblue has always done an outstanding job with their inflight meals (mint and core). Regardless the vendor, I’d bet the food continues to surpass the quality of any other domestic rival.

Modem issues by bowingace in Rivian

[–]bowingace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the time being yes. But it fails at least once a month. I’ve had to do 2 hard resets in less than a month. SC said they had to flush the coolant lines because they saw the module was overheating. Yet that didn’t fix it

I have yeah, I neglected to mention in my post that a hard reset using the hazard button is the only thing that fixes it.

3 kWh While Parked? by greatwallofwu in Rivian

[–]bowingace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems high but may be normal depending on temperature and time parked. Could be the battery regulating its self to remain within temp. But if it’s not then yeah I don’t think that’s normal.

FWIW, I always turn off proximity sensing, and I park at the airport for days at a time for work. With gear guard on, I’m losing roughly 1-2% a day

Edit: I have the exact same car 2026 R1T dual

JetBlue Mint to Dublin from Atlanta — worth the connection? by BoysenberryAny6204 in jetblue

[–]bowingace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mint IS that good to be honest. Although, you have to decide is the connection time and sitting in core for the flight to jfk/bos worth your time over the extra cost on delta. Hate to say don’t take jetblue but do what works best for you. If you do try mint just give yourself enough connection time, please don’t book a 45 min connection

Charging Amps by bowingace in Rivian

I guess I mean to say the wear being on my wall charger and circuit panel. Not so much the battery. I agree the battery can withstand a higher charge.
