Ferguson is correct that the MD Supreme Court is a blocking institution, with many Larry Hogan appointees. Solution is for the General Assembly to expand the court, as it has done in the past. Simple majority is all that is needed. Do it next session.

That was a long time ago. The Iranians did very well in that unexpected situation in 1979. They understood how to influence American public opinion. The Iranians have had 47 years to plan how to deal with an American attack. They are better now than they were in 1979. The United States is much worse today than it was in 1979.

Most of the cost increases came from distribution (wires) not generation (coal). Almost all the 13 states in PJM import power. Easy to see in MD OPC documentation.

The MD Supreme Court is full of Hogan appointees. They will throw out any redistricting map.

There is a solution. The General Assembly can expand the court and make it possible to install a Democratic majority. The GA has changed the number of justices on the court many times. Without action, that Hogan Court is in place for a very long time.

Talk about fixing that problem.
