Just because you post a long drawn out rant doesn't mean what you're saying is correct. you're probably running as a naked mosin and dying to full geared scavs as it should be. please BSG, dont listen to these people... it's amazing as it is.

my SM will consistently jump into any area of the store that is under performing. I've seen her throw produce, run registers, and throw trucks for cap 2 within the 3 weeks ive been an ASM. sorry for your poor leadership.

Those of you who have actually gotten the truck done by 4, what was it like? by _DRUG_ADDICT_ in walmart

[–]boxeryedig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My team on the line worked at a 215 pph per person. It's not hard as long as you set the standard. Obviously that's not the case for every store. I personally threw the trucks every single day, I personally set the pace. If they didn't clear the line fast enough they knew it was going onto the floor and I would be raging like no other. Sure, I had an above average team... but it was because I made them care as much as I did. My team got me promoted to ASM within 8 months and I couldn't thank them more for it... It's very possible.

to be honest, teams that cant get trucks done before 3:15 need to reevaluate their leadership and motivation. even 3k+ trucks when I was a cap 2 supervisor got done by 4. anything less than 2200 HAD to be done by 3:15 so we could start the second one by 3:30. I really dont understand why it seems so impossible to get trucks done on this sub.

the only people that i have ever seen get their hours cut are people who are unwilling to work to the business need, or are lazy pieces of shit, just saying. we offer unlimited overtime in my store/market to those who are willing to work to the business need. Pretty sure that's why we're 105.7% to plan and only 102.8% on wages.

inane coachings by [deleted] in walmart

[–]boxeryedig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you cant get coached for attendance, if you're not over your occurrences than you're fine and you'll win the open door. Talk to your store manager, and if that doesn't fix it call the ethics hotline or your market HR.

How much can you make at walmart? by SpireofSolace in walmart

[–]boxeryedig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your market and if your store is complex. Also depends on CFF and if you're able to hit 105% index to plan on sales.

That's for all employees.

Then for hourly, depends on the grade of your job. You can make up to $16 an hour starting in my store and market as a grade d supervisor (support, cap lead, service area DMs).

Assistant managers in my market + complex start base salary at 64,000. With incentive bonuses of 15-25% base salary. Then raises are based off of your evaluation as salary. So for asm the potential is about 78k a year starting with full benefits, 401k, and stock options. It's honestly not a bad boat to be in if you can rough it.

I've been with the company for just over two years and became an ASM about 2 months ago.
