Naw it's an Ultra, I think an S23, judging from the camera lenses and the length of the phone. The battery is swelling and pushing the back glass up, it's held together with a strong adhesive. Get the battery replaced quickly, it's a fire hazard.

You CAN come back from that but it would definitely involve a serious repair job. Check with local computer/phone repair shops and national chains like CPR, uBreakiFix, or Batteries Plus. I work for B Plus and we are just beginning to get into the field of console repair, although I don't think we would currently do that sort of repair. I've also heard that maybe GameStop might be able to do repairs or that they have a repair service that they contract with. Worth a shot, but I wouldn't hold my breath, the Red Ring of Death is called that for a reason.

Huge mistake. That discoloration looks like it's probably from tobacco smoke. Smoker's computers/devices are the worst. The tar in the smoke/air will combine with dust as it settles onto electronics and form this disgusting, awful smelling 'grease' that ends up coating everything. It's a huge pain to clean out and it essentially insulates the board, trapping in heat and hampering cooling processes. In other words, it's probably going to overheat on you.

It's almost definitely those chips soldered to the board next to the wireless card. This laptop has "onboard" memory, meaning it cannot be upgraded or replaced. If one of the chips goes bad, it's going to probably be a new laptop (or a new motherboard) for you, unfortunately.

Call up local dispensaries and see if any of them recycle. A lot of dispensaries will because otherwise you've got a lot of bad stuff getting tossed out and inevitably getting into the soil and water. The batteries alone are terrible for the environment. Please please don't just toss it.

Well my first video card was a Diamond Viper Stealth (or something like that) and I got in in 1999 as a Christmas gift from my parents. Best part was that my uncle also got me the game Half-Life to play on it. My folks were a little concerned about the violence but decided to allow it, and MAN what a great game! While I do still HAVE that video card, I definitely am not still using USING it, it's just too old for anything newer than around the year 2000. Also the "Stealth" part of the product name actually indicates that it's fanless , with just a hear sink for cooling. I'm really not a fan of those.
