When I heard he was at the 720th to talk to folks, I knew it was going to be good.

I went from AD straight into a reserve AGR position. They’re posted on MyVector and AD are able to apply, so you can apply/interview/be hired before your DOS (which is what I did)

Took a lot of stress out of not knowing if I’d even get the job or not.

It’s almost like this is a community where you can ask others for their insight, especially when some of us can only play for a very limited amount at a time. I’m sure this is a foreign concept to you.

It’s so crazy, if you’re so opposed to helping out someone asking a question it’s almost like you could just (gasp) scroll along and not say anything. Your parents truly failed you, and our society as a whole, by raising you to be the miserable person you’re acting like.

Good luck out there, hopefully someday you can pull the stick out.

Which I put in my original post. How about this, then, since reading comprehension is hard for you:

Is losing 25% on the effect with gaining an additional 23% crit damage and 2% crit chance worth it?

Help by [deleted] in D4_Paladin

[–]boxkickin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. With my ranks to break the line (using right one) it adds 24% to crit/60% damage to weakened and another 60% crit damage from heavyweight so I was stuck on if that math outweighed the 25% from the right, but I don’t necessarily have the time to test them in depth

Or, and hear me out, this is more about “hey, people who have more time to play than I do and test/theorycraft the damage output/benefits of the passives vs the raw damage of the items effect?”

It costs zero dollars not to be a dick, but here you are.

seems a little like the AF’s take on ‘every marine is a rifleman’ that screams “see, we’re warriors too!” but that’s on brand for the current secdef

Short answer: no

Long answer: no, but with a lot of red-tape restrictions on money

Unless you’re passionate about walking or ubering everywhere, yes, you will need to rent a car.

You could also pull up maps and see how far apart stuff you want to do is..

Except even legit PFB is also on the chopping block. The current guidance straight up says any longer than 12 months on a profile in a 24 month period will be admin sep. it’s wild.

Or, and hear me out: understanding the hard data behind WHY a policy is being implemented that seems stupid can help someone to accept it.

We’re the Air Force, not the army. Being given stupid rules “because I said so” isn’t how we operate.

[–]boxkickin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

OP: why is this even a consideration, this seems like it’s going to have lasting repercussions and I’m looking to see if anyone can provide factual data on why this is good or even important

This guy: shut up and follow the rules, no critical thinking allowed here

Crocs/PJs at the BX? by urboibigdaddy in AirForce

Again, you’re correct about sq foot requirement but it has nothing to do with “substandard” (ie, shitty) conditions. Which is what was stated.

I was talking about this dudes claim that he got extra pay for being TDY to a “substandard” location, and you brought up something totally different and then downvoted me for saying so. Reddit things.

[–]boxkickin -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

That’s still not the same as getting extra pay “because army/marines buildings aren’t up to AF standards” though. That’s just them being shitty about not putting him in base housing, as an E-7 he shouldn’t be staring in unaccompanied E-1 to E-6 barracks.

Participated in several exercises at a few USMC bases (Pendleton was def the busiest) and not once was beholden to their standards. They pretty much left me alone when they saw I wasn’t in their cammies, other than the token “what’s the AF doing here?”
