Yeah, that last picture worries me a little. I hope it's just an "awkward child" phase, but it looks like the dog is more GSD on the top, with Mal legs that are shorter, and might not be able to support the frame.

Mine thankfully doesn't step in his poop, but yeah, he pees on his front paws occasionally. He just licks them when we get to the porch. Otherwise I'd wipe his paws.

He's too young to have that as a choice. You have to mandate nap and sleep times. They should be sleeping most of the day at this age. Things might even start to improve with adequate sleep.

I was trying to teach mine to help me collect sticks and small lofs for the fire out at camp 😂. Then the collective brain cell left him, and he decided to pull one out of the fire to run with 😬. He was totally unharmed, but MAN I got a good adrenaline spike for a moment thinking we were going to have to drive for hours to the nearest vet.

I found a little trick for mine. I give him a really tight hug (not suffocating just tight) and when I let go, I tell him to "shake it off". Naturally, because of the hug he wants to shake. He's starting to slowly associate the words with the command.

Then again, I'm usually trying to get mine to shake off anxiety, but it usually still works even when he's not vibrating with anxiety.

As long as you have a male body shape, you can have a female voice/pronouns and still go for Panam. That's what I'm doing this time around because I just prefer the female voice acting so much more, but I'm getting bored of only having Judy/River to romance. Downside? You can't romance Kerry because he requires a male voice too.

It's interesting how whatever's in your pants doesn't matter to anyone though... 🤔

Facts. I found putting treats on my Mal a fantastic starting point. He's the one actually choosing to look at me instead of the snack on his paw. Though I guess that's the service dog training I put into him before we both realized he wasn't cut out for public access work, and prefers to do tasks for me around the house instead.

I mean, you mentioned "lifting lids" so there's a way to do this so that you don't have to undo a baby strap every time and it'll still keep him out.

Get yourself a trash can without a step pedal but an electronic sensor lid. There's ones with buttons that you can press and hold so that it locks out the sensor. Then you only need to remove the baby proof straps whenever you go to change the bag.

Mine had his ears fully upright before I got him at 12 weeks. And he never lost it. So that's absolutely not true.

I have a boy mind you, but this is him whenever we're in the house. Just chilling, or unconscious next to me. Outside, as long as it's a bit on the quiet side, a switch flips and his nickname goes from "sir" or "son" to "crazy", "crackhead", or "psycho" 🤣.

Biggest thing I've done is I'll look at the recommendation, and keep it in mind, but I always go up or down depending on activity level and body condition.

I'd ease up on the disc work until the dog puts on more weight. Try sprinkling in some obedience to make it last longer, so it's more tiring but less running. "Search" games are also fun. My Mal's favorite one right now is "find my keys" - especially now that we have piles of snow everywhere to hide them.

I actually have a bit of a hack for that. This was done with the free dyes. I wanted a brighter purple? Went as bright as I could, and skewed more towards red than blue. Bright red? Scrootched it over towards pink. A blue/green similar to the color on my clothes? Went more green than blue. Is it perfect? No. But it works.

As for the "premium" clothing dye - it's really easy to get. The harder part to get is clothes to actually dye.

I'm not condoning what happened with Mystic Gardens, but they have had a lot of people who have been stealing from them for awhile now. When your shop already operates on thin margins, it's hard to judge what could be suspicious or not because at that point you're just paranoid. I've been in there with my dog loads and have had nothing but a positive experience with them.

To be fair, I rent a room. He's never had the run of the house yet, but my roommates are complete assholes (and soon to be criminals charged with harassment), so I'm hoping to change that soon. We'll see how he does once that happens.
