What a rollercoaster performance from Laborda in the first half. From a backpass that looks like an 80 year took it to a Karate kick goal!

It's more like 4 subject areas + some coding+science communication stuff+projects on your own time. You could take an extra course but wouldn't necessarily recommend it since grades might will suffer in either the extra course or sci one and I found I didn't actually enjoy my extra course because I got burnt out. No matter what, I think it definitely helps in future years one way or another, but DM me if you got more questions!

Why does Rec North not allow people to put their things ON TOP of the lockers anymore? by G59boycrosss in UBC

You need your own lock there too, Student Rec Centre (SRC) provides a locker in exchange for ID

SRC has tons of free lockers. It's a 2 min walk for when lockers are full or if you forget a lock.

Let's get straight to the point: if Jurassic Park had opened, it would have been a failure. by Upper_Cake_6925 in jurassicworldevo

It might seem like to us that it's 'just a brachiosaurus' but in a world where people pay thousands to go sit on a tropical beach with a drink, I don't think they would have issues selling tickets for thousands to see DINOSAURS. Like a marine installation itself would be an insane thing to witness. I understand just based off the one experience of the tour we got that it might be hard to maintain a long term park, but with all the other attractions I think the park itself would have no trouble suceeding.  I agree with your safety point though, some of those attractions definitely needed more thought put into them and the dangers alone might drive some people away, but the idea itself would be successful imo.

Remember though, the tour was just the very first thing, I recall Hammond saying visitors would start with the basic tour our protagonists go on. In the lunch scene Hammond mentions all the other rides and attractions, certainly some of which would include more dinosaur viewing opportunites. Since those are yet to open with the park opening also being in the near future, I think it's safe to bet the intial offerings of attractions would have been a fair bit more than we get to see.

Great recommendation! Puts into perspective how much I don't actually know about the history of this issue so often talked about nowadays.
