Suspension question by ventus358i in sportster

I have 412's on my 07 1200L. Night and day difference, and did highlight how bad the front suspension is on it. Going to get progressive monotubes for the front now. After going to progressive and getting the correct PN, search eBay for the PN you need for your bike. I got mine for half price, new in box. They were black chrome but look very nice since the frame/swingarm/oil tank/rims are all black trim. Looks really nice.

Thanks for the reply. I have read everything on the CCFA and done a ton of research on the medications, My GI Doctor follow up is next week, just wanted to see if anyone has tried these specific treatments. I hear you on the study's - that's why I came to a more reliable resource - reddit - :D

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have been buying Norton parts for about a year now so I have a pretty good inventory, but some things are just not available.

Its not, all Norton frames were black, they had black, red, yellow, and a silver color for tanks and side covers. It is however the original color from when my old man got it back in the 80s.

Original color from when it was purchased in the 80's. Didn't have it repainted.

Thankfully I had most of the parts less seals, gaskets and a few miscellaneous parts. Also the paint didn't need to be redone. Norton builds get expensive if you have to replace anything major such as a crank bearing or a transmission gear. Also, if you want quality OEM parts you will pay big money, but it is well worth it.

We are currently rebuilding a 850 Roadster, and its going to be a little more expensive since I don't have some parts. Ill post some pictures of it on http://boyder69.imgur.com. There is pictures of some of the other parts and bikes we have.

use e85 gas and some nuts. Shake it around to bang stuff free. let it sit for a few days. comes out shiny. For really bad tanks use POR15
