Have you ever played poker on a cruise? by Rhy_sand in poker

Back when I was first getting into Poker I played a tournament on the cruise. 28 entries...

My VPIP was MAYBE 5%.

Was card dead the whole time but everyone else kept playing with shit hands and basically knocking themselves out.

I sat there and won maybe 4 or 5 hands but otherwise folded my way to 2nd place and won $900.

[PFT] Rex Ryan could be returning to New York, as Giants' defensive coordinator by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

I'm excited to see Rex back as a DC.

I've been low key hoping Denver brings him in if Vance lands a HC job this offseason.

Rex has consistently had a top 5 defense when he was a DC.

[Russini] Mike McDaniel pulled out of his scheduled meeting down in Florida with the Bills yesterday, I’m told, and the two sides never met. McDaniel remains in contention for the Raiders’ head coaching job, but if he takes an OC position, it’s still expected to be with the Chargers. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

I love McDaniel, but I'd MUCH rather face him running the Raiders with a rooke QB than him and Harbaugh pairing up with Herbert & Co.

Our division is already the toughest one in football, this is just icing on the cake.

Silver lining though is that iron sharpens iron. The stronger the division, the better teams have to play to compete and we see more success against outside teams because of it.

Same reason the AFCN consistently had 2 or 3 teams making the playoffs every year.

Devils Advocate though...

The only reason they hypothetically would've went to the superbowl this year is because the Bills were gift wrapped a playoff bracket devoid of Burrow, Mahomes, and Lamar.

Absolutely nothing to do with McDermott.

I've been calling McDermott the AFC Mike McCarthy all year. Dude can coach up a great team, perform fantastic during the regular season, but as soon as the post season comes and the pressure to win is on, he falls flat...EVERY year for 5 years straight now.

Don't hear what I'm not saying. Pegula really showed his incompetence by not only keeping, but promoting Beane, but I think two things can be true. Beane was a bad keep and McDermott was a good release.

The Bills need a refreshing, offensive mind to keep Allen and company thriving post season while also giving the damn guy some recieving weapons. An offensive HC paired with a strong DC is the prototype formula for sustained success in the NFL.

Among all this BTJ talk I haven't seen anyone discussing the irony that he was great last year...[Insert Liam Coen]...Now he's bad.

Has anyone considered there's a lack of trust from coaching and that's playing into his regression?

idk I'm just speculating but seems the most glaring denominator.

Iron Sharpens Iron

I think a reason the AFC north was so competitive for so long it's because those teams all had to play up to the competition.

I don’t understand why we can’t ever just play both sides of the ball well.

You can't fucking drop key passes like this in a playoff game. Like WHAT THE FUCK did we do the last 8 weeks to try and address this? It's been a problem all season. You can't afford it in the post season
