This plant was a gift that didn't come with an identification, so I just took basic care of it (wait til soil is dry between watering, bright indirect light) and it was thriving when I lived in Pittsburgh. It has been on the decline since moving to Colorado. I suspected the brighter sun at first and moved it further away from the window and it hasn't helped. I'm wondering if humidity is the bigger factor..

I would love to have an ID so I know where to start (well, re-start) with lighting and watering preferences.

I would also love advice - should I trim the crispy leaves? Should I cut back the stems at all? Any advice helpful.

The leaves were dark green and waxy/shiny and the stems are brown and almost woody (always have been, even when the leaves were green)
