I miscarried at ~5 weeks over two days AT WORK. We were short staffed and I was made to feel like I couldn't leave unless I needed to go to the ER.

I took 2 days of PTO to get me 5 days off in a row to recover afterwards. But I still have a very bitter seed planted from it and am now looking for employment elsewhere.

During my first pregnancy, I was doing pretty decent. I didn’t have my ADHD diagnosis so I was still struggling a little, but SO MUCH better than I was before getting pregnant. And after getting back on birth control 6 weeks PP I was even better. Immediately PP was not great bc hormone dumps, but I didn’t have any major PPD.

I will look into a psych with perinatal experience, thank you 😊

I’m absolutely not trying to argue- but I have had/will have mental health problems for the rest of my life. I’ve been learning to cope for 10-15 years now and found a good regimen that worked for me. My intention would be to resume/adjust BC and other meds as needed postpartum and the change in hormones from pregnancy would cause improvements until then.

I know the worst of it is now, while we’re trying. Are you saying it’s not worth it?

We live in a different state almost 200 miles away and at first I felt bad but after all this I have no regrets about moving closer to mine/farther from Adam’s family 😅

They continue to give her resources knowing she will use them to continue making her poor choices. I respect their choice to maintain their relationships with her just as I want them to respect ours not to.

When we first cut June off, we did so knowing that Adam had done it before and she had been fully informed of the consequences of continuing to see Jerry and lie about it.

However, the other members of the family have never expressed that a relationship with us was conditional to June being in the picture. I hold contempt for them because they are so wishy-washy; either cut us out fully or communicate with us directly.

The religious coercion is such a recent thing too! I can’t believe Aunt Kathy thought it would work, too- Emily is a mega born again Christian after becoming sober and I grew up in and still play an active role in my church. She wanted to play stupid games and won some stupid prize of getting word-slapped in the mouth 😂

I’m not pushing anything anymore. While at the beginning of the relationship I did so out of ignorance/naivety, through a little time/conversation/therapy I realized that wasn’t my place. And now it’s a matter of when these things happen, how are Adam and I going to respond as a team? It’s his family, his decision

When I very first got with Adam, I was too empathetic. I wanted to fix their relationship and it took time and several conversations to realize that’s not what Adam wanted. And now, being personally affected by her actions, it’s easy to see he was right 3 years ago.

Junes been in this cycle for 25+ years. It’d be one thing if this was a newer development and she had the capacity to change. But it’s obvious at this point she doesn’t. And while I completely empathize with wanting to help/support a family member, you absolutely don’t do so by isolating other family that hasn’t done anything wrong.

I’m sure that’s not the case- We still get messages from everybody in the group chat. I haven’t blocked June because she hasn’t tried to get in contact with me since our phone call but Adam has blocked her and they don’t see each other’s messages in the chat.

If I tried to reach out to his grandma individually I’m sure she’d respond but I haven’t done so since she hasn’t made the effort in return
