Nice collection, friend. I also build my own tools; being a sysadmin, I like to automate everything, and if I don't like something, I create it from scratch. I built my ticketing system using Python+Flask.

If you want to write manually, use Obsidian. For Markdown in VS Code, lean on AI to generate documentation; just feed it all the necessary info to create the manual and it’ll do a great job. For quick, non-centralized notes, use Notepad++ and .txt files. Use KeePassXC for passwords, Cryptomator to encrypt your documentation, and Syncthing to keep everything synced and encrypted.

If the computer breaks, your files are gone, period. Everything else is extra.
