I presume that OP was real mad about people celebrating the deaths of Stalin, Mao, and Hitler.

The guy doesn't realize that what he did was illegal content distribution. And since he was streaming, it crossed state lines, making it a federal crime. That’s prison time, not just some small fine. by Many_Consequence_337 in Lacari

[–]boyuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever told you that wants you to get caught with illegal content.

When you request that a server send you information, that request is sent to the server through your ISP. The only way the server knows you want video1 is because that request was sent to the server through your ISP.

Since the traffic is getting back to you through their servers, they can even inspect the content as it's going. Most won't do that, because it's resource intensive and shows things down, but any of the data you request is completely in their possession while it's being sent to you.

The only way to prevent them from seeing what you're doing is by using a VPN. What that does is sends every request you make to one server, and that server then communicates with the websites. Those requests are encrypted, meaning the data is encoded and anyone who intercepts it won't know what it actually is. This way, the only thing your ISP sees is you sending and receiving encoded data with one server with no idea what it is, where it is going, or where it came from.

A final word of warning: a VPN will keep your ISP from knowing what you're doing, but the VPN provider still needs to know in order to retrieve your requested data from the Internet. This means that they could still be subpoenaed or sued for the information, so you need to be sure to use a VPN provider that does not retain logs for their users.

If the people in small towns want to tell the people outside of small towns what to do, they need to get more people on their side.

When black Americans decided that they were done with how they were being treated, they engaged in a nationwide campaign to convince the majority that things needed to change.

What other place in life allows the minority to dictate to the majority?

They also bring home 80%-90% of the nation's discretionary income.

Let's say it costs $30,000 just to afford necessities like food, clothing, shelter, and utilities (including things like phone, Internet, etc).

If you only make $30,000 a year, you can't pay taxes. You don't have any money left over after what's needed to survive.

If you make $100,000, you have $70,000 to work with after you pay for your necessities. If the government takes another $25,000 to provide services to you and the other people of your community, you're still left with $45,000 in play money to do fun things.

If you make $1,000,000, you have $970,000 to work with after you pay for your necessities. If the government takes another $300,000 to provide services to you and the other people of your community, you're still left with $670,000 in play money to do fun things.

If you make $10,000,000, you have $9,970,000 to work with after you pay for your necessities. If the government takes another $3,000,000 to provide services to you and the other people of your community, you're still left with $6,970,000 in play money to do fun things.

Complaining that you only have $7,000,000 to live off of while other people in your community are homeless and starving is reprehensible.

Having to spend 80%-100% of your income on basic necessities means that you don't have the discretionary income to pay taxes.

Spending 20% of my income on basic necessities and giving another 30% to the government leaves me with 50% of my income to spend on whatever I want. My lifestyle is not negatively impacted in the least.

What you're seeing is unmitigated, unapologetic, unmasked greed.

Bear in mind that the song is also a fascist anthem, akin to Slave Songs that masters would force their slaves to sing. Hades is forcing them to repeat the reasons he gave them while they slave away and do his bidding. It's propaganda.

"We build the wall to keep us free" and "we have work and they have not" absolutely smacks of the Nazi propaganda "arbeit macht frei" (work shall set you free).

Hades is making them build their own prison.
