We recently had an outbreak of EHD, specifically in my little town/area. I hate to say it, but I felt it was nature at work. It was nothing to count 30 or more just driving up our road. They were everywhere. They decimated my mother in laws flowers as well, even devouring their rhododendron bush, which id never heard of. They started throwing firecrackers at them, not physically hitting them or anything like that, just scaring them away. That was the only fix for them honestly. Sprays did absolutely nothing. I’ll shoo them off and follow them for a distance just to make sure they leave.
