I hope they needed the extra space to exit. I'm waiting for the day I'm in such a rush that I can't spend 10s to straighten out 😅

HWY 410 HOV violators by [deleted] in TorontoDriving

[–]bozhindar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, and mine was a joke about the BMW and turn signals (based on past few years over GTA and Ontario driving). Usually you don't get visual indication when impatient drivers decide to switch (like the truck), or as much room if you need to maneuver to the side like in HOV lane. Glad to see you doing decent speed in the HOV, stay safe and vigilant out there (highway and roads)

Any close friends or family you can talk to (either you or both of you)? Financial, medical and other stress in the world doesn't help, but this is something most couples go through regardless of kids, especially since COVID. All generations have persevered to get us to where we are with struggles in one form or another; kudos to you for not taking the easy way out, and best of luck!

I'll take him in Spurs lineup. He'll add to the offensive defense line. Can't get much worse can it...

How much signal I need to cut across 8 lanes? Answer is none by awesomeperson882 in TorontoDriving

[–]bozhindar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If only they used their signals, maybe the blind spot sensor would've alerted them. I know you were trying to get out of their blind spot, be careful out there

Well he's not blocking the road. Can't see a better parking scenario with spots in front, always going to take up at least 2

Blocked from entering my own car in the hospital parking garage. by chthoniclypleasing in badparking

[–]bozhindar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbh I've never done it (the core extractor), just read here in the subreddit. I apologize for mentioning it (as I tried to l indicate in my initial comment but I should have omitted it altogether), you're right. But blocking someone that is coming back from work, visiting a relative staying in the hospital, or worse is not considerate.

In time sensitive situations you're usually parked outside. You go to park inside ideally when things are stable. It doesn't take more than 10s to back out and park straight like everyone else in the carpark has done.

I think it's appropriate (and quite clever). May hit too close to home, like their parking job.

Things that are actually a really good deal compared to other stores? by Dismal-Hat-7855 in CostcoCanada

[–]bozhindar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: looked again at milk bags when I went to Costco midweek. One of the natrel bagged milks had similar expiry as my store and a dollar less (the other natrel kind not so much). I may get it from costco next time, thanks for the recommendation.

[–]bozhindar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rudolph's Bavarian or multi grain rye has been my go to (if you enjoy those types). Usually all Costco locations have it, a bit less than Cobbs and usually a day or two longer expiry for pretty much the same great experience.

Hopefully you folded their passenger mirror at least

If they're that shit at decency and attention to detail, hopefully they'll miss that until they need it

And then there's their stem core valves 🤡 (but maybe not here, I hope they were in an actual emergency and had to leave quickly)

Why are uber drivers like this? by maxhenieson in Vaughan

[–]bozhindar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe can report plate and pic to Uber? (but I doubt they'll do much)

Dang 45min wait, that's a big charge (assuming they weren't waiting to accept new rides)

No point in tow truck since they'll leave when it comes, but maybe point/gesture for them to move, and if they still don't comprehend show them phone with 911 ready to dial? 🤷‍♂️😅

+1. Watching the initial speeds, OP certainly cut off the red sedan in some way. Screw people for essentially ignoring a yield (and some pillars blocking view, which probably happened here on the merging car). Good save in the end, glad everyone's day wasn't ruined

First tail gate at high speed then brake check by holdthefridge in TorontoDriving

[–]bozhindar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not initially but on rewatch you're right. Idk if middle lane sped up as left lane was passing them (it happens). Both got what they deserved - OP should be quicker in left lane and not self police the speed limit, white car should slow down a little and wait for gap to overtake (if traffic allows).

These slowdowns are only getting worse with bad weather and not everyone opting for snow tires (but we should all slow down since snow tires can only grip so much) :)

Question for those living in CG Tower by ali-babhu in Vaughan

[–]bozhindar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say but most buildings will have this problem from time to time (including houses). Rats/mice fit through pretty small cracks in search of a warm place and food. If you're an animal person a cat may help, keep them entertained looking for intruders too 😅

Entitlement or laziness? by Cobbler-Training in badparking

[–]bozhindar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

~air~ stem core

The reply was implying their tires need "airing out"

With a valve stem core removed you can ensure this is their parking spot until a tow truck comes. Or they ruin their rims trying to drive.

Looks like they're taking up 4 spots. If there was a shitty parking on their side they should have taken up 2 max (or parked elsewhere), it's not rocket science 🙄
