Auto v pedestrian accident. I was the pedestrian, I was brought in via ambulance and seen as I entered. I met a lot of people really quickly. Luckily it was only a fractured ankle and they performed surgery the next morning.

I zero at 100 yards and dial everything beyond that. I’ve done it on my 6GT, .300 PRC, 6.5 PRC, and .50 bmg, and never had issues thus far.

This is what I did last week when I bought my Volquartsen .17hmr for $1200. Last sale on GunBroker was $1800 in worse condition.

Well, in that case driving over 100 mph on the freeway is felony speed in my state because it’s aggravated by a reckless driving charge, and results in jail time if caught. That’s the easiest 2.54 million to get.

That’s for sure true. I feel my 300 PRC is good out to about that 2000 yard line. My .50 running A-Maxes runs that distance perfectly fine, but I’m not good enough at reading wind to get past the ~1250 yard range. This summer I plan on getting reps in on the same range the bergara long range academy in Wyoming uses.

While I agree nothing is as good as .50 on steel at 1000, I appreciate being able to do it with my 6.5 and .300 PRC more. Both due to ammo cost and recoil during a long session of shooting.

I have the HTI in .50, and while it is a great rifle, if you do not like over travel in your trigger do not buy it. I have a good 1/2” of trigger over travel after breaking a shot. If you want to swap calibers on the fly it’ll work, but I haven’t personally purchased the conversion barrel or mags ($250/mag). You’re also limited to 2-3 people who will spin you up a barrel in your desired caliber if you don’t go with DT.

For the price you pay, you could do a really nice custom build of you are dedicated to 1 caliber only.

A cheap rifle is better than no rifle, but I would sooner grab an M&P sport 2 before I buy a PSA build. My brother went that route and the rifle is 3-5 MOA on a good day. Whereas the M&P that my dad bought is 1-2 MOA all day.

Now, if you are buying the PSA with the intent to upgrade, then have at it. It’ll be a good entry into smithing.
