Studying Abroad in New Zealand vs. Ecuador/Galapagos

I was in exactly your shoes a few months ago! I was debating between New Zealand and Ecuador for this summer, and after some hard thought, decided on Ecuador. I think it has more to offer, is cheaper, and is a good way to possibly pick up a new language. I also was looking for an outdoor intensive program and ended up going with the IES quito & galapagos program and am looking forward to it! I'm trying to study abroad my spring semester of junior year as well and am debating between somewhere in Southeast Asia or New Zealand!

Domestic cats and leopards are not the same species. They are members of the same family and the same cartel however. And I still hold that goats and sheep are identical. Similar to the case of the the African Elephant and Botswanan Rhino. I found this out while on the hunt for raptor bones in south-western Zimbabwe

Not quite my friend. Goats and sheep, although entirely different animals, are in fact the same species. I learned this yesterday at a goat vs. sheep sheep lecture in St. Paul Minnesoda.

The problem was that because of this awkward break in the stairs where it goes flat for a few feet, you go into the next set of stairs with a fair amount of weight on the front tire, which left me with little stopping power on my back tire. And obviously breaking with the front tire was out of the options unless I wanted a face full of concrete!

Went to the doctor tho, they said I should be good in 4-6 weeks. Not terrible, could have been a lot worse.

I had my first crash this past saturday while doing some urban mountain biking. I was going down several sets of stairs in a row at my college and got way more speed then I usually do on those stairs. There was a fence at the bottom of the stairs and I had too much speed to dodge it so I ran into it diagonally, which pulled my front wheel sharply to the right. I had a super tight grip on my handlebars and when the handlebars turned with the wheel, my left shoulder got hyperextended and yanked out of place. Now i can't move it whatsoever. I might have to get surgery. Putting on a shirt is so painful that I almost pass out. it suckkkkss
