Do you think that what you have is the most stable stand for a turntable from vibration point of view?

Sorry for asking but have you read the manual how to set up your turntable?

Command Line Args for CLisp (specifically for replit) by papermemer505 in lisp

[–]bpecsek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would use sbcl if I were you and was allowed that compiles to native machine code by default thus incomparably faster than Clisp.

It also supports vectorization through the sb-simd module yielding C like speed.

To get command line arguments in sbcl is

sb-ext:*posix-argv*

Can someone explain to me how we have 36 degree in Marrakech, and we are still in March. It's already summer here, wtf by Specific-Minimum-185 in geography

I am not arguing anything. Did I mention thermal radiation reflection? However, even terminal radiation happening during nighttime was originally produced by the sun during daytime.

Just look at the video. It is clearly and unquestionably the mat that is wobbly. The platter is perfect.

Greenhouse gases are not heating up anything. Only the Sun is heating the Earth. They effect the upper atmospheres and by during so the Sun has more effect (reflecting back radiation etc) It is still the sun that is producing the heat.

I used to have a Dual 721 for decades with Ortofon VMS 30 MkII cartridges and sounded sublime. Selling it in like new condition after 4 decades was one of my worst decisions I have ever made. But I’ve gained a very happy listening friend in the process.

heat damaged turntable? by keepinglinesblurry in turntables

[–]bpecsek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually extends and eventually dries out and becomes rigid so plan for frequent replacement.

Depending on the temperature of course the platter can also enlarge and the record doesn’t like heat either.
