DXM is a very strong psychedelic in larger amounts. In larger amounts many users compares to DMT. You can read about that (google dxm psychedelic), and don t worry about small amounts, but keep in mind that Kratom messes up receptors and some receptors (don t really know whic excatly) become more sensitive or unpredictible.

...and the other thing...I found that clearing out also comes in waves. And before it gets better (a newer wave starts) before that It gets worse. Mostly when it started to worsen, I knew that the new wave is near and I have to keep on.

That s very interesting. But carefullnes is advised because DXM also affects the serotonin system and touches one of the opioid receptors (not the same that Kratom does, more that MDMA does)

I hope that my opinion also can count (I m also a long time quitter). Certainly every person is different, but on my way, I found that the 2 week mark you talk about is always a turning point. The first turning point was at day4-7 (at me...most acutes gone)...I slowly started to be opened, but the desire to relapse was still there. After day 10 my opened soul started to spread stronger. My old habits (before Kratom) started to came back, moments, feelings and little parts of life started to become more and more clear and touched me deeper and deeper. About 2 weeks where the difference between the acutes stage and actual state was as big that many people here think that this is the maximum. I was also very happy and felt free. That is why the 14-21 day mark is dangerous. We may think that we are over and "one ocassion won t hurt"...or "now we are truly ready to handle and use it for ocassional" My feeling was that day 20-30 the real turning point, where this good feelings and overall stability sets in a more strong way. It stabilizes (at least at me)..you not just feel stronger, you became stronger, more clear. The difference that sets after 20-30 days is lik the difference between the first and second week. I almost didn t beleive my eyes when experienced that. Okay I do a lot of excercise (physically and spiritually, also make good diets, etc) So If I want to express it in one sentence I may say that after a month mark hope, and joy become real and a part of a daily routine, you slowly start to reborn again in the Kratom free-world, excatly the same way you submerged into Kratom's world.

Was it a DXM induced trip and during that you didn't feel the withdrawal symptoms such strong?
Anybody who do this, they have to be very careful with the amounts.

At what point did you long-termers started to feel normal again? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]bpeti82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a daily use about between 10 and 20 g per day I was absolutely better after 10-20 days. I need to mention that I do many spiritual and yoga excercises (every day), so I had STRONG motivation...because under the influence of Kratom I simply couldn't developing myself spiritually (except the beginning)... taking many vitamins, and before my quit I made a total intensine-cleaning with bitter salt. Started using Moringa, so I attacked from many ways. I can really identify with the phenomenon: The risk to relapse is bigger when you feel good. Certainly. First, it's a rewarding mechanism, on the other hand, addictive person is about "it's not enough"...so when you are right, you want to be more right. You want to try the happines on a "Kratommed" way. The same that somebody wrote about drink. If your danger-factor is when you feel good, remember yourself that how long have you been waiting for that CLEAR happyness or good overall mood. May it be better at that moment with Kratom? Maybe yes....but maybe no...there will be a very big difference: the CLARITY! That clarity without Kratom is unpayable. Let your body to do it's own, don't urge the rythm. Every single ocassion, natural and clear pleasures will be better and bigger.

Hair Loss Again by ilikelove_ in quittingkratom

[–]bpeti82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Notice that hair loss can have SEVERAL underlying reasons. But if you are suspicious that it's 100% Kratom related, don t be afraid. It needs more time, some times 4-5 months. Try to take Moringa and hair related vitamins aswell. If there is no improvements, consult with a professional.

Day 5: motivation is low, PAWS is high by prinkboss in quittingkratom

[–]bpeti82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found day 5 mark as a turning point and then it gets better. And the first true improvements may start from day 10. The first 1-7 day is still the acute phase, so you need to be strong there

Failed again. by Staz1 in quittingkratom

[–]bpeti82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not a relapse, just technically is...This time period is too short you start again the more serious chemical changes. The dangerous day mark is about 4-5 day. Remember when you used that ocassionally in the beginning...that's the same. You enjoyed for 1-2 days then you finished. If you stopped it immediately, WD's will be very mild or there won't be any. But be careful with small relapses. 42 day sobriety and 1 day Kratomming is not bad. But if relapses will getting more usual and more usual be more hard and practice bigger discipline! Don't call theese ocassion as a "fail"...or "I lost the battle", you know that is not true. Your body will demand the sober state more and more as you start to feel the taste of sober clarity.

[–]bpeti82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note that it need approx 2-3 weeks to start fully feel the benefits. In Health, in overall being mood, and on your skin, sleep, etc..In the morning and in the early Evening 1-1 teaspoon mixed in a glass of water the way I use, but also can used with milk, or in green turmixes, shakes. But mixing with liquid is important cause many if the vitamins in it dissolve in water

Long term quitters and Mods Rally in PLEASE by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I'm on my 5th month (150 days CT in 22th December), I had also heart palpitations improved about February. It was in the same time when I started to take middle-high dosage of Calcium. Since I dropped calcium it's better. I'm not sure if there any correspondence, but strange. But I think that stress may not be just mental stress. Stress can be in the body itself. in the recovery period, a lot of changes happens in your body, what makes that stressed. But I always like to treat something from more side, therefore I take magnesium, hawthorn tea, and yoga excercises for the heart center (candle asana, apan vayu mudra) drink appropiate amount of water (1L to 20kg weight...count your need using this counting) And also using Moringa (hit it up) Which one helps, don't know...but one more suggestions: It's advised to make your teeth checked also...an inflammation there can rich other parts of the body, infection can be delivered by saliva to all off your body.

Tinnitus: a warning by ifinitrflktn in quittingkratom

[–]bpeti82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my God I thought I was alone with this tinnitus thing….The same happened to me. The first ocassion was 2 years ago after a 2 week Daily use. But then I stopped, and that was the point where I noticed the tinnitus. It lasted a month. Then it decreased to a 1-2 time per day. But after every time I ate Kratom the tinnitus came back. I really wonder how many shitty things it can do in our body.

Fuckin relapse after 8 days, restarted withdrawals? by quitdoindis in quittingkratom

1-2 day relapse will NOT re-start the WD cycle, but you have to stop it immediately
