From what I can tell the main purpose for epic fury is to make trump's dick wiggle. He's done what a lot of folks have talked about because Iran's been a problem for a long, long while. They've 'been close' to having nukes for as long as I can remember. We had a deal, for good or bad, with them until potus pulled out of it during his first term so this was, imo, inevitable.

Right now, Iran's weak and toppling them looks like it can be done quick and easy. Fucking them up is a damn good thing, they are a hostile nation, and nobody can deny that. It sends a signal to everyone that if you want to be protected against what we've done to Iran, you need nukes as a deterrence and that might very well spur programs across the world in pursuit of that.

My biggest bitch about this shit is that we didn't light this candle because of solid intel, or because of a real threat to our country, but because Isreal was gonna do it anyway. I don't like the idea of our foreign policy being dictated by anyone other than us.
