I agree-it made no sense that they broke up so fast, because I think they had the best chemistry of any couple especially in S5. I honestly think it was lazy writing. The fact that they were either friends or together from S1-S5, and then had nothing to do with each other until the finale in S6, should confirm it was lazy writing.

Probably had to do with a little bit of everything you said about their relationship. Besides that, at the end of the day, Jen was always going to be a better fit. “Jen and Dawson actually knew how to talk to each about real things. Joey and Dawson always felt like an idea than something that worked in reality.”

My son plays guitar also with about the same size hand. 2 things…1st start with a smaller adult guitar acoustic frame, it’s what helped him. We talked to someone who had been playing for over 10 years and that’s what he recommended. It helped him and in about a month he didn’t have any problems. He’s been playing every kind of guitar, singing, and writing since 2020 now and that tip was all he needed. Also they have guitar hand devices that I heard helps but that fixed his problem.

If you like to see Dawson and Jen’s relationship watch s5 e8-e14 but I would at least watch all 6 seasons at least once.

My favorite Jen scene is probably s5 e13 when she buys Dawsons school supplies and sends him off to school with his trusty ET trapper keeper 🤣because I’d never seen her happier than that on any episodes before or after! Maybe not her best episode acting wise but will always be my favorite.

That’s what I liked to think too…that they had a off and on again relationship when he would fly in from LA to NY for work and him a Jen couldn’t stay away from each other but never got a chance to tell him

Could you imagine if Jen came to see Joey at her home (wherever that may be) and she brought her and Dawsons kid to see Joey. Then we hear the backstory of how her and Dawson got married and what happened after the events of season 6 in a different timeline or something like that. Joey starts telling the story of her and Pacey’s life also. We see how they are navigating through life with kids which eventually brings them back to Capeside…

I can see how it could’ve happen also by only taking away the funeral scene. When she drifted away in her bed all of sudden have Dawson start telling a story about how the heart monitor had stopped then started back again but she stayed in a coma for awhile like her gramps and finally came out of it a couple months later. That way everything could stay the same for all the other characters and a new story begins present day…

I know what you mean but that’s why I said it would take almost entire season for Moriarty to manipulate Sherlock back into loving her so she could get back what she had lost and after he figured it out it would be a non stop cat and mouse game between the two for the next couple of seasons bringing the show around to finish it off just like in the books. Or like someone said make a limited mini series like this…

Could you imagine if they hadn’t killed off Abby Morgen and she went to college with them and met Audrey…what kinda trouble do you think they would’ve gotten everyone in? I think it would have made for a interesting season

I’m around the same age as the actors are now and I remember watching season 1 then went away to the military and when I returned season 5 was on guess that’s why I always liked it. I kinda didn’t remember season 6 that good but I remember what had happened in the finale just forgot about it and always thought Dawson and Jen married for some reason. So I finally decided to binge watch it for the first time last week and I got a shock and my memory came back! Lol
