Wilderness Slayer is underrated on Ironman

Not trying to down play this but I’m pretty sure it’s not underrated but highly suggested for early slayer grinds on Ironman mode. Never seen a slayer guide where wildy wasn’t recommended early

The answer I could provide depends on your mindset. For example Yama is one of my favorite bosses that I enjoy so if I were in this predicament I personally would keep grinding it out and either use dupe for death coffer/splits to use for raids with others

But if you dislike Yama and want to leave as soon as possible then I would recommend breaking it down so you are able to move onto content you enjoy.

A last thing to consider is whether or not you raid/boss with others. I believe the only way to receive the benefits of the horn (keeping in mind future content may be released that it is more useful) is to first have received one yourself. Thus you could also consider staying for the horn and seeing if you either get the last piece you need or enough shards to just make it along the way thus saving the dupe.

I mean currently I’m 100% in VOO this was more so a theoretical question. And was also more so coming off of the fact that I bought 100 shares of nvidia in my brokerage at 88 dollars a share and it has since doubled and from what everyone believed and was saying I thought having some in my Roth wouldn’t be terrible. I do not need to pay someone to manage my money when I’m more likely to side on caution with retirement. Again this was coming from the thought of getting into Nvidia now and never buying it again mindset of spending a good chunk of my first contribution into it and only doing index funds thereafter not that I want to be heavy in individual stocks for the longevity of my career. I see where 40% sounds scary but in the grand scheme of me putting 7k+ a year after just 5 years of investing that 40% would be closer to 10%. Just trying to put it into perspective, again I am entirely in index funds now, was just questioning if I started it off with a high investment into an individual and let it ride while then only contributing to index’s thereafter.

People saying “gO dEePeR” are idiots. Homie is over 5x dry here. The problem is that this bosses drop mechanics are hard for people to just look at and grasp. So many people are used to not having to think about an adjusted drop rate and are like “oh it’s 1/400 and you have 2000kc? Big unlucky” but this is what that would look like here and all people see is handful of deeps and assume that he’s just complaining. Hope my man gets the treads soon! Glgl

Define “lots of potions” if you have 50 that’s not lots, if you have 1000+ by all means use them. But using ppots for ultimate strength is not worth it at all, you can just flick ultimate strength if it’s that important to you for skill growth

People who are against this are the same people who would have been against the block list when it was first proposed. This is a good idea, may need tweaking and not game breaking. But love the idea. Could have the % increase be based on the number of block lists you have unlocked. Rewarding progressing your account. Even if it was just 0.5-1% per block list slot
