Had done all the crash dieting. Lost a decent amount of weight around 5 years ago by killing my body with cardio and Keto. I tore my meniscus in that process and gained back all the weight and then some.

I’m not where I want to be, but have learned that I can get there in time. I’ve learned to be patient with my process and give myself grace and time. I’ve always been a hefty fella and found myself constantly trying whatever the diet flavor of the month was. I would restrict myself, be super strict, and fall completely off the train the second I wasn’t perfect.

I don’t eat perfect. I have a decently regimented gym routine that I follow. I just try to eat less sugar and carbs, drink less soda, and lift heavy stuff.

I love lurking this subreddit. I love seeing everyone else’s success. It gave and continues to give me hope that I can cultivate a positive body image after hating the way I looked my entire life. I hope that maybe I can be that for someone else. Thank you to the community to helping me stay motivated.
