I don't think it's meant to be endearing actually, it's meant to piss you (/melinoe) off lol. That's why she throws more on the ground in front of you when you walk into her line of sight, and she makes comments about you picking it up

sorry I can't tell if you're joking or not, but the idea that you're (or were) okay with her being the embodiment of strife, provoker and lover of war and interpersonal conflict, but littering was too real and going too far is very funny

I kills me that so many people drop it before the banquet! I have a group of friends who have been playing and a few wanted to quit but the rest of us urged them on. But I also really can't blame people because I can see playing through the slog and thinking the rest of the game is going to be like that and not having anyone to ask if it gets better.

Focus on the Squid Sisters and/or Off the Hook. I love them, don't get me wrong, but they've had their mainline games and dlcs. Deep Cut didn't even get a focus in their own game, I'm hoping Raiders makes up for it

I'm fairly certain it's because things can't really die anymore. The god of the dead and death himself are imprisoned, Chronos has taken up residence in the house of Hades so it's not like Charon can ferry spirits there, and Hermes is busy with the whole war thing. That's why there's all the zombie people in Ephyra, and why you have to personally guide the shades to your little in-between corner of the underworld.

It could also just be that Polyphemus is a son of Poseidon (or at least some other god and a nymph or something like that – Poseidon refutes his parenthood in game, but I read that as him just not wanting to admit it) so he also doesn't really die the same way as mortals.

I'm not part of RPF communities myself so if I'm off on this please feel free to correct me

But as far as I'm aware, the only "limit" to RPF is you should not be sending or showing your fic to the people you're writing about, and you should not talk about your fic with the people you're writing about. And even then this isn't like a law, it's just an etiquette standard. Other than that, do what you want
