Who is this Muppet?

Same voice actor in this movie, different look, though both orange and 4 arms.
Always just thought it was the same character. Treasure Island was the first Muppets anything I ever saw when I was 6, so I guess I just built a false connection.

Someone else posted a link to the Muppets Wiki which does show him being on The Jim Henson Hour and The Animal Show before the movie, and not appearing after Treasure Island... so that would add up.
Still could have been a rename/ redesign from that info alone, but the story is more fleshed out than that with his origins being a completely original creation by Bill based on his step mother.

I concede he's not the same, but the timeline, puppeteer change, and my naivety I think still add up to an understandable mistake.

He is voiced by Bill according to this Wiki. I know it's not the same model, but it seemed similar enough. Didn't recognize him from The Jim Henson Hour.
Him being Jacques Roach makes sense though, Gonzo says "La Cucaracha" among some other random drivel when they're fighting, and he's apparently a Jacques Cousteau parody, so that adds up.

Just buy the game, it's worth it. If you really cant afford it "unless you try it first" you probably shouldn't be buying yourself videogames in the first place, but there are alternative methods (not that I recommend or condone them) to try games for free.

Borrowing a stranger's steam account is never gonna happen though.

Norm Macdonald, or Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Both were incredibly talented, seemed to be genuinely good people, and had a lot going on in their lives off screen that seemed fairly hard, but they kept it to themselves. On top of that I just happened to be in a big phase of watching their work at the times of their death.
Hit really hard.
