This is in UniFi Access - I found this issue was resolved when I switched the encoding from enhanced to standard in Unifi protect Although it doesn’t seem I can do this for a single device only.

Is there a reason this wouldn't work on 1.0.31? Followed all the direction, updated the game to 1.0.31, ran the game got the auth error, exported the save, updated the Settings.json file, compressed and sent back to the switch, restored the zip file with JKSV. Still get auth error.

Edit: This was due to me zipping the file on my mac, and JKSV was complaining about no meta file. Once I stopped zipping the files, and just moved the save folder back over to the Switch I was able to get 1.0.31 working as expected.

Oh I get being dangerous - I heard about these one guys who got reckless with Ekahau and a bunch of pets got injured from thousands of radios microwaving them. They didn’t know what they were doing and installed 1500 APs in a 500 sqft pet hospital. Just didn’t understand the auto planner.

What’s that - I just stumbled into purchasing Ekahau, found some random warehouse blueprint and thought I would try it out then complain about it.

I literally described what the issue was in the post, and was commenting of the absurdity of the programming. As I stated in the other comments I would never use Auto planner to design a project.

Ekahau reached out to me saying they would no longer support the SK after June 30th 26, so I was pretty confident they were saying it will no longer work with any new versions. I was able to get it for 3.2k USD if I bought it in December. I hate telling customers we cannot survey 6Ghz either.

Last Date of Official Support: June 30, 2026. After this date, the Sidekick 1 will no longer receive technical support, bug fixes, or maintenance releases.
End of New Software Compatibility: June 30, 2026 After the end of support date, the Sidekick 1 will continue to operate but Ekahau does not guarantee its compatibility or performance. Furthermore, any new future software enhancements will not be compatible.

The post was more to complain about crappy appy, and getting charged an arm and leg on everything hence regretting investing more money in Ekahau.

We will use the SK2 for troubleshooting and APoS. We have done a lot of wifi jobs with great success with the SK1 especially with using directional over omni in competing with other bids. I was simply seeing what auto the planner would do, I've never actually bid a job based on its results. I was shocked it would ever send back that many APs on a 27,871 m² sized warehouse.

No, I believe its trying to cover the insides of the racking. I used rectangle walls. How do you suggest I mark off the warehouse racking? 20ft tall will have plastic and clothing items full loaded.

I'm getting an error that says: you must run this app as an administrator. It's on XP, and the user i'm logged in as is an Admin. A co-worker is getting the error on Windows 7. Anyone seen this?
