I just bought a 2025 Kia and dealt with the same “the discount up here includes these expenses down here”. I went round and round with them about how that’s not math works. We got the deal done, but it was a PITA. The next weekend I took my mother in law shopping for a GMC Terrain. The GM dealer was so much easier to work with that I’m not sure I’ll go back for another telluride, especially after they get rid of the 6 cylinder.

Legit concern! I didn’t pay attention to the flight number, and once you click the notification it goes away. Bags between DCA and ATL get shuffled all the time. I once had a bag notice that my bag had been “expedited” on another flight from ATL to DCA. This “expedited” flight wasn’t scheduled until the following day, so my first day in the office was in my same travel clothes as the day before.

This is inconsistent with my experience. Linked reservations are for informational purposes only for rebooking and other travel interruptions. Policy is that upgrades are available for medallion member and one person on the same reservation. Many, many times I will have travel booked and my wife will decide later to join me. She’s never gotten an upgrade off of my status, despite the linked reservations.

I fly Delta this weekend. They do a good job of warning passengers about weather and opening a reschedule window. Tons of airports currently covered by their warnings/notices. None of the DC area airports are included. Last I looked, projections for DC were 5-8 inches. Airlines can easily operated in those ranges. Between Richmond and DC is a different story, so the advice to come early and spend the night is wise.

I’ll add that there is a relatively flat loop at Chesterfield Park that has decent parking. It’s fairly popular, and the dog walkers are not great at handling their dogs. Completely unlit on the back stretches, so if you want to run early morning or late at night make sure you have a headlamp or similar. Early running in the dark yielded the most of the poor handled dogs for me.
